The Deltawing DID NOT RETIRE! It finished P6 and was later moved up to P5 when a car that finished in front was disqualified.The DeltaWing was in a crash on Wednesday and was rebuilt overnight.
It ran for the full 10 hours in the race without a hitch. Missing a couple of safety car 'wave throughs' lost the Delta Wing a few laps. It could well have won!

ETA: In fact what am I actually on about? I read the other day about it finishing in a strong position and was pleased about it because I am a fan of the car and the concept behind it. Stupid boy!
