By having two narrow tyres and independent front suspension you would able to keep both tyres square to the road and therefore increase the grip, does that make sense?
A single wheel with an inclined "king pin" like motorcycle forks gives some negative camber on turning so a suitably wide single wheel could do the same job.Charlie Michael said:
Does the Delatwing have an LSD?
I believe it has a very clever adjusting LSDGreat video and the technical explainations, even if difficult for those who are not chassis engineers, shows some very dedicated people.
Chris, if you want something special to drive, perhaps this may be of interest http://www.greengt.com/en/greengt-h2.php as it has been invited to participate in the 2013 Le Mans in the 56th pit box where the Deltawing was this year

Great Video (Can't believe I'm saying it but) Good job Harris, he even remembered his seatbelts...
Superb project, I know Nissan are much maligned for jumping in last minute and hogging the glory but good on them- genius bit of marketing (like Red Bull) sponsoring bonkers stuff and getting lots of coverage whether it works or not.
While I'm sure the car would be at home in a sub-500kg unlimited formula what would anyone else bring? Deltawing clones or "normal" but lightweight single seaters? Would like to have seen it running on an oval as per the original design.
I hope this isn't the last we see of the deltawing.

I've no idea if Harris reads these pages but I've just read all 5 pages so far and don't think I've ever read such agreement on any subject on PH in 10 years. Sterling work. +1 for the 30 minute directors cut!
R90C/K's aside I've never had any interest in Nissan or even the deltawing; funny how a 10 minute feature like this can completely change the image of a company that tens of millions on ad campaigns never will. I think you have to give huge credit to Nissan for allowing 'us' that kind of access. I wish other manufacturers showed such passion.

I was about to say very much the same ... well written comments about a stunning vehicle and a superb example of reportage, Mr H!R90C/K's aside I've never had any interest in Nissan or even the deltawing; funny how a 10 minute feature like this can completely change the image of a company that tens of millions on ad campaigns never will. The funny thing is though that Chris Harris could write an article on how the Reliant Robin is the ultimate in handling, has the latest technology and is a fantastic motorcar and the sycophants in here would be frothing at the crotch in agreement.
It's odd how none of the Deltawing naysayers have arrived in this thread yet like they normally do.
Having said that, the video was interesting and it's nice to see something pitched at a more knowledgable audience for a change.

Disagree there I have been critical in the past and got shot down for it... but this is not a subjective opinion piece, it's presenting exciting innovation....shot brilliant and presented fantastically....he did get an obligatory 911 reference in there but we'll let that slide.
