Because the have spent thousands on changing something that comes with the car for free for the sake of their own vanity.

Right, let's move on from what could be one hell of an argument.

Odd. What you're saying is, it's crap because you would begrudge spending money on it? Riiight.

Out of interest what if he had inherited it? Would it be a 'good' plate if it hadn't cost him thousands?

How could inheriting a bad plate make it good? It would improve my opinion of the owner, but not the plate itself.

Let's just fking leave it, shall we? I'm sick of this thread now. It's all argumentative when there is no need to be.

No pic as I was driving on my own, but I spotted H157 ONY on Friday. The owner had spaced it to read HI 5 TONY, and yes the 7 had been shaped into a T rolleyesbanghead

Me too confused I'm guessing they've just slapped a fake plate on the car.

There's a guy with a motorbike I see for time around Sandhurst, Berkshire, who has removed his rear plate & replaced it with one that simply reads FUK U banghead Guess it's his way of getting away with the red lights he tends to run / excessive speed rolleyes

Sometimes you see a plate and seriously wonder why the fk did you buy that!?!

And what is the FBI sticker all about?!?

I'm guessing it's the owners (sad) way of attempting to be part of the FBI in the USA as the vehicle is a Ford Expedition which is one of the many vehicles the LEA's use over there including the Escalade, etc.

As no doubt are VOSA/DVLA. Unless he is pulled personally since the plate is unreadable how will the authorities find the owner I wonder? Given the extent of alteration and blinding illegality of such plates if they remain in use it must beg the question. Are the current systems effective against such unreadable plates?

Let the flaming commence.
Oddly, I think it would look more like your surname in UK font!

Not sure if this belongs here or not, but I passed a Range Rover on the M62 tonight with N1 CKY (legally spaced).
