Yes I totally agree,as in the thread's title...so to have plates such as " N1 CKY " and " 68 P " posted recently and both correctly spaced I think just shows this thread is some times getting lost with Personlised plate haters,so maybe we should have another NEW thread title.......!silly
Just "Illegal plates" would do. Some police admin could browse through it every morning....
Spot on suggestion. It is the illegality that is unaceptable.
Your right then we could have cars that are electronically limited to speed limits as well! wink

Which it is but there does seem to be some (with out naming) with just a plain private plate hatred which is fine but why keep gong on And one about it page after page.....confused I don't have any interests in Football or Vegetarianism but if I see a forum on such I don't bombardmoan it with my negative views and criticism of it I leave it to them and it's that that spoils forums like this and indeed the other "real good" thread......nono

Saw 'GD02 FUN' on an X3 a while back. I can only assume he was trying to say 1 of the following:

a) The car is good fun
b) He is good fun
c) He is a customer of o2 and that is good fun

I can understand that plate on an Atom or something, but on an X3?

According to 'mycarcheck.com' that is now on...

"We have information on our database regarding RAW 53X, a Toyota Corolla 4wd (Estate)."

Not sure if this belongs here or not, but I passed a Range Rover on the M62 tonight with N1 CKY (legally spaced).
Then how on earth can it belong here....? Sold in March 1996 DVLA auction for £55,000 + VAT Etc so not much change out of £70K 18 years ago..........rolleyes
Great plate but at that price not a great investment
That's a fantastic classic plate..! And a popular name for both sex's I would have thought it would easily command £120/150K + today on the open market, not a bad investment..!
£70K earning 4% since 96 is now £140K. Even @ 3% it's £120K

I think it's a £100K plate.
Is there a way to check what vehicles this was on historically?

I could swear I used to see that in N.Ireland a lot, on a Porsche 993 (possibly a gt2), driven by a Chinese guy.

Seems like a good plate if your name is Sakh. The 4 doesn't look completely legit though confused

Not sure on this one - seen through rear mirror. Looked like V1P UK with the U made up from 11 on a black Range Rover. Reg Check comes back as on a Corsa, though that was inputting V 1 PUK?
