What's wrong with it...? confused
To some of us - of a certain age - it says British Motor Corporation.
You may read in to it what you will but why does it deserves to be on this thread.....? confused
I thought it was posted here for the anomaly value. Like a bloke whose initials are BMW with his cherished plate on a Jaguar or a Mercedes.

Maybe I read too much into these things.

H1 2 CCX this morning.

The online check sites (inc. DVLA) show it on a silver VW Golf, but I'm sure it was on something bigger and 'more white'.

Still. Who the feck is CCX, and why do you need to say hello to them on a bloody numberplate?

...also saw D16 NDG on a HiLux delivering a mini-digger (on a trailer) this morning. Livery was "Always Digging" and the VRN was displayed on a square rear plate, 3 over 3...

D16
NDG

...I'm not sure that this one is absolutely crappy, but it was certainly a bit naff.

Indeed, who knows or cares? The absolute "I do what I want and could not care less" demonstrated in such a illegal and wholly inappropriate plates really sums up the downright selfishness in such adornments. This thread has demonstrated time after time that illegal and unreadable plates are on the increase and it is time the authorities stopped this business. Given the love of politicians of additional income I am surprised they do not massively increase the fines and consequences. They should and this would stop overnight.

But it may well severely harm the sales of "Cherished Plates" by the DVLA.

I don't find these plates are 'on the increase' at all. Near me I see a few chav numbers that are now displayed exactly correctly.

I don't buy the argument that it would affect sales of cherished numbers in any substantial way. Must be far less than 1% of the market. Any displayed plates represent numbers that have already been bought. Some folk will even go and buy a replacement when their plate gets taken away (if it ever happened).
