Does trying to bos5 that white Transit about give you a sense of purpose......?.......hehe

What a hurl plate........

Without doubt a definite contender for the Crappy Annoying Chavplate (CAC) award.....
He was actually double parked there - but obviously neither his illegal plate nor illegal parking was attraction any attention from either relevant authorities. Later I was walking along and saw a beat copper walk straight past a fat bloke who was riding his bike along the pavement with headphones in his ears, so obviously they are being very selective in the laws they care about these days.

I know someone with 80 ATS (boats) Cost him loads but IMO it's pretty naff.

Saw a woman in an old shape X5 today, worst plate I have ever seen:

MJ 02 ARY. The M A R Y where much bigger than the (lowercase, complete with dot!) j and 02. Guess her name was Mary

Look very odd

I'm sure I've read somewhere that that is the actual CEO of Habitat's car

The CEO of Habitat drives a Fiesta? That's the most depressing I've ever read on PH.

A vast majority of the population aren't interested in cars 'tho. It's reported even Lottery winners don't always automatically rush out and spunk a couple of million on vehicles most PHer's would cheerfully cripple themselves for. My experience is most people know very little and care even less about cars and could probably tell you the make and colour of the car they own and maybe some of the registration too but not much else. When I was in the trade more than one of our identikit Eurohatch driving clients couldn't be arsed with memorising even that much and we'd sometimes see them wandering around the forecourt repeatedly pulsing their remotes to identify their own car when they'd come to collect it.

If that really is the CEO of Habitat - and why not? - then it's not his choice of car that depresses me - it's the fact that somebody with sufficient intelligence, motivation and business acumen to deserve that position thinks illegally misrepresenting HAB 174T actually spells Habitat.

Rather like the day our new MD rocked up to work in a dirty 06 Vauxhall Vectra diesel right after one of his managers (and subordinate) parked up in his gleaming V8 Vantage.

Habitat does not have a CEO as such - when they went bust in 2011 they were bought by the company who own Argos and Homebase (Home Retail Group) - Habitat does have an MD though and her name is Clare Askem..... She doesn't drive a fiesta.

Oh christ yeah, I'm sure there are many who wouldn't miss me!

I have just lost patience with his vile, unfounded pronouncements.
I have no idea how to do the clever multiple quote edits...s0:-

Point one: -
..well, Garlik did on Real Good and barred him after one particularly nasty rant...
Point two:-
Your opinion is widely shared. I used to find it vaguely amusing, now it's boring and insulting.

Not sure if you can make out the two 1's that they have shaped to look like a N - they used to have a black screw to complete the fake N but that's been replaced with a yellow one now

"I have no idea how to do the clever multiple quote edits".

Indeed. Because I think you'll find that the quote attributed to me, above, was not mine. Not a chance that it's either my style of writing or my opinion. I think you'll find that...

I don't have much free time for internet stuff these days and PH is pretty much it. I don't hold with all that "It used to be much better back in the day" stuff, I think this is a very decent place to be most of the time.

Look I don't know the bloke, he may be the nicest man on earth in real life but just scroll back 20 pages on this thread and you'll find him making appalling presumptions that wouldn't be accepted anywhere else. Replace "Essex" with any other label in his posts and he would have been banned years ago. I'm not even a true Essex man, I'm an East Ender originally (now there is some fertile ground!) but I have just lost patience with his vile, unfounded pronouncements.

Probably not worth my blood pressure to be honest.
...and when you do <snip> content from a quote, to be fair to the quotee you should really make it clear that you're not quoting the full version wink

Saw T33 USA tonight, font was horrible, and it had a yellow bolt towards the bottom right of the U, which if you squinted, made it look like LISA being kind, however it did look totally st.

Seen today. Amongst many many other crappy, but slightly less memorable VRNs on the return trip between Farnborough and Nuffield Place...

M1 5OO F, on a Fiat 500 Lounge. Just why? EVERYONE can see what it is. It's one of the few modern cars instantly recognisable to almost everyone, even those not really interested in cars. It also has the '500' logo all over it. It really doesn't need a bastardised number plate to let me know what I'm looking at rolleyes

...on a brighter note, my petrolhead pilgrimage to the home of Billy Morris (Lord Nuffield) was a lovely day out. The National Trust cake was a fantastic bonus, as usual, too wink

In case it's relevant and FYI I was not banned from the Real Good thread for expressing any particular opinion. I was banned after missing a ultimatum by Garlik for everybody concerned to STFU as the other posters involved had pushed the thread so far off topic. One of the other posters concerned reported my post ultimatum reply and Garlic quite understandably had no choice but to ban me or loose his authority. My fault and I respect that decision.

I wander in and out of here when I have nothing better to do for pretty much the same reason as all the other regular contributors - I dislike Chavplates. If anybody takes a dislike to my reasons for doing so then they are free to report me too.

Despite a change in the rules on how number plates could be made (cant remember what it was, but it might have been about 10 years ago), there seem to be more illegal number plates than ever here in SE London. Oh, and people looking down at smartphones as they drive. Probably the two things go hand in hand.
