There is an Audi knocking around here that has a plate that reads something like M1 0WDY.

That number is on a smart car in dunstable at the moment, It belongs to one of the reg plate companies as the car is all liveried up. Last I saw they wanted £60k for it rolleyes

+1 undoubtedly a factor and individuals who hae no respect for the law tend to ignore all the one's think they can get away with. Hence the correlation.
