although personally I would've said, judging by the massive gap, he wants it to be read separately, its probably initials and the F1 just fits in with either Ferrari or F1 racing etc.

In my experience, people who think that private plates are 'crappy' are those who can't find a plate with the sequence they want, can't afford a private plate but would like to have on, can afford a private plate but their wife will not let them buy one.

Saw this same car in Padstow some time back, I'm not sure if the plate was legally spaced at the time but it made me think more of:

My plate is private as are all plates they are unique. What you are talking about are vanity plates.
