It seemed to be a bit rude taking a picture, but I'd like to mention a yellow 430 Spider parked in Hong Kong with number plate

NO PORK

Can't say if he's a radical muslim or he doesn't like Porsches though...

Is it an endorsable offence to have badly spaced registration plates?

I don't believe it is however

Number plates (also known as licence plates) should show your vehicle registration number correctly. You can’t rearrange letters or numbers, or alter them so that they’re hard to read.

You could be fined up to £1,000 and your car will fail its MOT test if you drive with incorrectly displayed number plates.
Also the right to use the plate could be withdrawn - you don't own it just pay for the right to use it.

What is it meant to legally be though?
Edited as answered
So it's an Irish plate.

going through some old photos i found my mates sisters car and a real shocker of a plate... i didn't even remember she had such a tacky plate.

On the plus side it was a 306 GTi-6 smile

That really is a great example of plate butchery banghead

Is it meant to be JUL 1453?
JUI 1453?
That really is butchered and highly illegal - plates like that should get fined (and have threads about them) but a bit of space movement you lot shouldn't get your knickers in a twist over smash
Yep, you are on my side of the argument mate! Can't get wound up by spacing, but this is utter, utter crud.
Sorry, I really can't see what the fuss is about. I'm not referring to the legality side of it but if they want the number plate like that, what has it got to do with you or me. Why do they have to have what YOU like. Would you go and ask them if they even like the car you are driving never mind your number plate!! If a complete stranger came up to you and said the clothes you were wearing looked complete crud - i am absolutely certain you'd through a fit. Imagine that same person saying your girlfriends hairstyle was crud. You'd flip your lid in no uncertain terms, i have no doubt...

..and yet you think its socially ok to rip the mick out of someones number plate! Sorry, I don't agree - and suggest you get a life!
Imagine for a moment, you are walking quite legally accross a pedestrian crossing, and you are suddenly knocked for six by a car whose driver is probably breaking the speed limit.

The driver does not stop.

As you are being carried on a stretcher into the ambulance you whisper to the paramedic 'Anyone get the number plate?',and he replies 'Sorry mate it was one of those personal altered plates,no one could read it,
they got clean away'.

Just imagine.
