Lovely colour I thought, this Range Rover Evoque and an interesting plate.

"1 BUG", maybe there is a "2 BUG" lurking somewhere. Or just someones initials.

Of course BUG does have a meaning in the R.N. Or did until they stopped the tot.

So why is that crappy ?

Something passed me yesterday with a plate so unmemorable that it was almost memorable - well, the crapness of the concept was.

I can't recall anything other than the first character, but it was something like J7 FNO, but the first four characters were bunched together so that it stated J7FN O. Cos that looks quite a lot like John, y'see?

B8 DYM on a black VW transporter with the usual "scene" mods. Spaced, with obligatory caps in the 8, to read BODY M.

Made even more amusing by the text THE BODY that was written on the bottom of the plate laugh
Perhaps it also belonged to the funeral director on the previous page.

Is that JCN then ?

Appalling if it is......furiousmad
IMO, people like that should be done for fraud, not just for the number plate 'motor vehicle offence'..

666 JON is on a Corsa.. I'd be seriously pissed off if it was my car and the clown with S56 JCN ended up getting tickets or fines that came through to me. I'd be taking the to court.

Ive reported the owner of V33 DOB for cutting the top out of the 'o' to read V33 DUB- which is our plate!

Vehicle Make/Model: YAMAHA JUO-218316, Vehicle Type: AGRICULTURAL

Most odd.

Gremlins........

Imagine a farmer getting a ticket for doing 120 on the M1.

Probably this data base is out of date.

There's some nice plates on agricultural vehicles. Saw an ad last night with a plate AXP1 on a FFRR. Seems the plate is actually on a tractor.

Re the above, my two 'checks' show is as being on a Veyron.

Worrying isnt it, you sometimes see those police programmes when they pull a driver for not (apparantly) being insured, only to find out DVLC is wrong, driver is right.

Amongst the (many) abominations for sale on ebay, I stumbled across what I intially thought was a cheap dateless plate. A little too cheap, but sometimes you get lucky on ebay.
Upon closer inspection, however:

" S66 JCN " .....?
I'd guess at 566 JCN
That is one of the worst examples of blatant misrepresentation we have seen on this thread. If displayed as shown I have no doubt that ANPR would read it as 666 JON - which would doubtless upset the owner of the Silver Vauxhall Corsa that the REAL plate is on.

Exactly.... As I mentioned in the earlier thread this has happened to me before and then I have to provide proof that it was NOT my car....! I have then had to produce photo evidence and even sign an affidavit to the courts....! furious but I don't know what happens after that.....?cop
