I saw T11 ETT on a small(ish) white car. I'll just leave that there and let you lot figure out what car it was on and what they did to the spacing and the use of a black screw cover to make it extra super crappy
I have gone back a few pages but not sure if this has already been posted but I was at a track day today at Brands and it seems Mr. Surtees had a real effect on Paul Hollywood because he was out there in this! It's just a bit too... cheesy/obvious a plate to have for him!

When I see one that is butchered, I think that they are a knob.
Is that snobbish? Either way, that's my immediate thought.
It all depends how they're doing it.Is that snobbish? Either way, that's my immediate thought.
For me there is a world of difference between printing A12 BBB As A1 2BBB, and the other method of using studs and fonts to completely misrepresent letters. The latter should have the plate canceled with no chance for them to rectify first as it was very clearly pre-planned and "fk it, I'll do what I like"
I can understand that some people unfortunately get bought them as presents and feel obliged to use them, but other than that, if it has to be butchered to 'mean' something, then that person is a tool.

They're still trying too hard to say something. Why bother?

Personally I wouldn't do it but I also couldn't care less if they show A12 ABC as A1 2ABC... lifes too short. But it just really pisses me off when the studs and the masking tape and so on come out to play. Two for the price of one today...
...proudly presenting "Clive and Sue M's crappy *His'n'Hers* personalised plates".
Spotted on their drive as I rode past on my MTB, off to meet four other cycling PHers at Swinley Forest.
"C19VE" has featured before, as he regularly passes me in the mornings, but this is the first time I've seen his Merc alongside "5UE's" Omega, with it's even classier plate.

THE TT ????OneTun said:
+1. I agree. The spacing is a tad grating but otherwise a very very good plate. Especially in contrast to some of the real howlers out there that blatantly flout the law.......
Nope. Like any other Chavplate that one is also breaking the law. Ignoring that illegality just because you happen to like it is demonstrating exactly the same mentality that you criticise in other plates that also break the law. You're actually saying it's fine to ignore the legal requirements providing you like the illegal plate but not if you don't. Regarding your own opinion as more important than the law is exactly what Chavplaters themselves do.

Once individuals prefer their own interpretation to following the law chaos begins. These plates are illegal. Not a good game. Just as removing parts of exhausts without declaration, is illegal, adding much loulder exhausts without declaration is illegal, modifying engines to get more power without declaration is illegal, replacing engines with different engines without declaration is illegal, altering lights causing dazzle is illegal and so on. The key is the failure to declare demonstrating the unlawful intent.
Very common practice nowadays, all illegal, all cause unlawful vehicle use. Not fun.

J11ECY with the lower text, something like 'R Juicy, 2 juicy 4 U'
Spaced as such, on an E90(?) 320i Cab.
It's parked in the visitor spaces at my depot. I've seen it before and there's a bunch of blokes around today I don't know by name, so my mission today is to find out who owns it and why he thinks he's (or she's) too juicy 4 us.

I almost bought "T15 ATT" with the intention of selling it on to someone for a small profit on the basis that they might leave an extra space and round off the 5. I didn't in the end, mainly because when I think of stuff like this and haven't missed the boat (as I did when I tried to buy LA60 NDA but found it was 'reserved for auction') I usually assume I'll just make a loss.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
