I saw one around Swansea a while back that read NA51 BOY, I expected to see some massive tattooed skinhead driving , but it was a young asian lad.

I think I might have changed that one.

I saw Qasim out in Farnborough earlier.

Qasim is a bit of an arse, because the number plate on his black 2008 Mercedes S320 diesel should actually have read "OA51 MOG"...

...but, with a couple of dubious black screw covers, it was spaced thus... O.A51M O.G ...with the screws tucked up nice and close to the O's so that they looked like Q's.

The frequency of these nonsense plates does seem to suggest more and more drivers are following the same unlawful approach. Pity really because many of these plates are simply not readable and deliberately use unlawful fonts and chopped letters which may well mean that APNR is ineffective. Currently it would seem flavour of the month in the UK. Down to Police and DVLA whether it continues.

Passed a black Audi A3 with G9 SON, though I'm sure it has extra black bolts or something to make the G look like a 6.

This first one's a repost, because I can't believe that no one commented on it's ghastliness the first time round:

I'm guessing it's because apart from the slight separation of the N and the J, it's not that horrific. At least, no-one's going to mistake the plate for anything different. The really appalling ones are where you look at them and say "hang on, what does that plate actually read"?
Or "hang on, what a really crap, tasteless plate" (like Hugo's)

A classy one from "Tia" earlier today:

T14 ATM spaced to read T1 4 ATM.

Not quite sure why Tia is advertising her love for Ass To Mouth on her reg plate though confused

I think that interpretation says more about you than the owner if the plate! hehe

Not to mention the unlawful graphic. How illegal does a plate have to be before action is taken by the authorities?
