Any Waitrose or golf club car park.

A gold mine of personal plates in both locations.

Some are OK , but many are chav plates disguised as mere middle class frippery.

From a recent bike ride, spotted in a driveway...

AGE 64 - on a Passat Highline TDI

"I'm sixty four years old, you know."

"No, Grandad, you're ninety six. You bought that plate over 30 years ago, remember?"

I saw an Astra with MR55 ABZ spaced to look like MR5 5 ABZ.

Middle aged woman driving, I was trying to work out if her name is S Abs or she has a 5 pack (5 Abz)!

But, my point is...totally ste plate.

K155 WOK on a 2010 blue Ford Focus.

WTF? Kiss wok? Wuh? Why?

Maybe initials, but still? Unless "wok" is street slang for something a bit rude? I'm too old to know, though.

The plate is what? 1992-ish date related, on a 2010 car, so has obviously been transferred from summat else, or bought from the DVLA, or from one of the independent 'Vanity' plate dealers. Hey-ho. Unto each their own, but I simply don't get it. confused

I was tidying out the garage earlier this evening and found this off my girlfriends old Audi Coupe V6, therefore I would like to nominate her for this thread.

Ok so the actual registration number is fine but the plate itself is a different matter... biggrin

It did cause a hilarious conversation with a young police officer though.

^^^^ Not sure which is more offensive, the car or the dreadful plate. Certainly a match made in heaven.
