I don't see the problem with this, other than you're ability to post photos the right way up.
Care to explain? (either why there's something illegal or whatever about the plate or why you felt so motivated as to take a photograph of someone's car and post it on the internet)
It is the right way up?! And also looks crap from here, that's a "9" not a "q" dear boyCare to explain? (either why there's something illegal or whatever about the plate or why you felt so motivated as to take a photograph of someone's car and post it on the internet)

So? Is there a risk that you're making something out of that plate that isn't there? It just says EV09 HEL. It's correctly spaced, not misrepresented in any way and quite possibly the HEL part means more to the owner than the EV09 part.
Prime example of the subjective nature of whether a plate is crappy ....or not.To try and advertise the fact that you are an 'eee coque' driver aka wannabe 'proper' Range Rover saddo is not something I would want to do....nor would I want a 'vanity' plate which may partly spell a name perhaps......so on those grounds alone I would say it is a chavplate therefore crappy but others may disagree simply because the plate whilst being rather sad appears nevertheless to be legal.

Any other crtieria is just an opinion which at best is a personal view based on a presumption that the Platee is either trying to say something with a numberplate or is even aware it does. In many cases of making assumptions about a legal plate you're also positioning yourself right alongside the remedial class rejects who think it's OK to mix up letters and numbers to spell things too.
Anybody has to knowingly make quite an effort to obtain and display a illegal plate after all and only when they go to that effort and are prepared to risk a FPN everytime they go out can you reasonably claim a line has been crossed into fkcuk the law Chavdom IMO. Any legally displayed plate might just be a random numberplate having far too much read into it after all...
