I don't think it is. In fact, if I were to buy a car with a 'BO55' plate on it, I would actually consider paying money to DVLA to get rid of the damned thing. Although, to be fair, I could probably make money selling the damned thing to some fantasist/failed-at-life halfwit who'd snap it up to put on his five year old 1.6 litre HDI Peugeot 207 Sport SW.

Yes, I'm looking at YOU "Mr BO55 DTM" - it may well be your initials, or, unlikely as I think it to be, the initials of the company of which you genuinely are the 'boss'. But all I can think when I see the plate is "with the best will in the world, there's no fking way on God's green earth that the boss of the German Touring Cars championship is going to be driving around Hampshire in a stty five year old Peugeot".

No photo but saw a Range Rover with the plate, "BIG CF" the other day, presumably it stood for "Big Cock Flannel" judging by his driving standards...

I don't have a problem with that one, it could have been badly spaced but the owner has resisted the temptation. Or been done for it and decided not to risk it again. I actually quite like plates that could be mis-spaced or messed with but haven't been.

I actually quite like it - no messing and it's amusing, I'd smile if I saw it on the roads. Was it being driven by a 26 year old? hehe

Saw the V8 0 MPG plate on a Rangie coming out of Crowthorne this morning, I know that it has been referenced on here before.

If the Hummer was not bad enough, was in the local Chinese takeaway when these came out and a bloke arrived in a bright yellow one, a lady waiting in the Chinese said, upon seeing it "I bet you would like that wouldn't you" and he said "I would rather be spotted getting out of the back of a sheep than the front of that", truly hideous.
I don't understand, the guy made negative remarks about the vehicle he had just arrived in!?

They could have at least made the effort to fit the plate to a TT rather than an A3 cabriolet.

No doubt it was originally.

I used to see F1 ERO on a Pontiac Fiero - then the owner changed cars - it didn't look quite so "clever" on any of the subsequent cars.

I chuckle when I see X5 nnn on a hyundai or 1 series or something..
