And missing a comma after 'God'.

No spaces required before exclamation marks, of which one is sufficient.

Three errors in a three-word posting!

Meanwhile, back to other crappy, chavtastic plates . . .

Nothing wrong with those (except that the 288GTO shouldn't have black and silver plates). I was wondering why the RR has a yellow plate on the front but it's LHD so probably foreign.

God I'd sell my own Grandmother for a 288GTO.

Not to mention the unlawful font and silly badges stuck on. The GB sticker also looks too small but I can't be arsed to check the regulations.
God your anal !!! GB sticker too small? FFS well best you go speak to Halfords. No badges stuck on either
Anal? It's not about "being anal". The law is simple, and quite clear. I imagine even you could manage to read it...

https://www.gov.uk/displaying-number-plates/flags-...

...so your silly 'Porshe' badges are illegal on a plate fitted to a car when used on the Public Highway. As is the use of any flag or identifier on the right hand end of the plate. As is altering the shape of any character on the plate...

Her Britannic Majesty's Government said:
1. Overview
Number plates (also known as licence plates) should show your vehicle registration number correctly. You can’t rearrange letters or numbers, or alter them so that they’re hard to read.

You could be fined up to £1,000 and your car will fail its MOT test if you drive with incorrectly displayed number plates.
Fingers crossed that you, and any other clown who feels that he/she is somehow above the law, soon meets a policeman who has nothing better to do than issue you with a summons. I look forward to the day when one of your ilk bawls and wails their way through an "It's not fair! I broke the law and got caught! Wahhhh!" type thread in SP&TL after being fined (and hopefully having your crappy plate withdrawn)...

tongue out

Here... https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploa... ...a handy little pdf you can download as a helpful aid to complying with the law, instead of simply doing what the feck you please.

Lord, give me strength... rolleyes

[deep breath, close eyes] If your plate is displayed legally and reads like a name, a random word, or a clever pun, good for you! If, however, it is necessary to butcher characters, mis-space them, or use random screw caps to achieve the desired result, then A+ for effort, but it's a crappy plate and belongs right here in this thread. If you've done all the butchering you can think of, and it still fails to convey the desired message to the point where you need to explain yourself in small letters at the bottom of the plate? I'm afraid the best part of you ran down the crack of your mamma's ass.[/open eyes, breath out]

Seriously. If the plate you want is either unavailable, or too expensive, accept it and move on, don't try to conjure it out of something else.

Sadly for 'Mr10secs' TUR 80 is on a black 2012 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GTC. TUR 80T is on a silver 2007 PORSCHE 911 TURBO, and unless the owner is a big fish-fan, then I'd wager that it too, is illegally displayed

Now can we all please quit with the personal insults, and get back to the meat of the thread, which is meant to be people posting photos or a report on a plate that is, in their opinion, a crappy plate, whereupon a small debate ensues, we all remain civil to one another, and then a new plate is posted, and so on...

Please?

And before Mr10secs bothers with trawling through my profile to somehow try to "own" me with his, quite frankly childish, game of automotive one-upmanship... Retired former soldier, Ford Mondeo. Make of that what you will. I care not for your overt displays of wealth, nor for how you acquired such. I am currently very happy with my life, thanks all the same... wink

I believe we are both wasting our time and effort to explain the fundamentals of this thread but I completely agree

I have two vanity plates (used to have three but sold one) and none are doctored in any way.

If the law changed to allow miss-spacing they'd both get a letter/group moved but the law hasn't changed so they as per the rules

I haven't got a clue what car you have or the plates you display.

I was merely responding to an earlier post by KFC agreeing with everything he said to Jag Steve bloke whilst also agreeing about tampering with digits to resemble a completely different one. A general opinion.
If your going to join in a thread at least have the decency to read it before chiming in!! Kin ell its on the same page you've posted on
OK....I was agreeing in principle with what KFC was saying re dodgy digits and numberplate screw.......That's my point, wasn't necessarily singling you out but you've invited me to take a look.

Utter sh@te .....IMO your plate is the epitome of horrid and has every right to be here.

Retired soldier! Well respect to you sir. As for TUR 80T, prob better off owned by a fishmonger!
The point im trying to make is all of these plates, well almost all can be read by ANPR, both my plates can clearly be read for what they are, as the WPC explained even if miss read the only permutation comes back to my car and as I said to her if you can read it and your ANPR can read it then whats the problem, she said there isnt one except its illegal. I understand some people have a bug about something but the funny thing is a lot of theses pics are taken from moving vehicles using a phone, for a prime example but on the good plates thread the 355 with 1 NOW which is going so fast on a dual carriageway you can barely tell the car never mind the plate !!! How come you guys think thats OK? As for being labelled as its done in case I drive into a car so I can make a speedy getaway I take um-bridge to that, for 1 how many 911 turbos do driveaways and I pay a kin lot to get that car insured for an agreed value with all mods declared and protected no claims and as im involved in the running of a bodyshop id just leave a card

In a earlier missive Mr10secs quoted

'Yeah the one screw in mine is terrible'

I wonder is that how he got his name in bed?

I have seen it a few time recently, but haven't been able to get a photo as I was driving
