Think the R should be B and U is an O ?
Would have thought as B15HOP it would be worth a few quid ?
The real " B15 HOP " sold in April 98 for £16500 + VAT Etc.. And I'm sure worth at least double + that today..!
R15HOP is local to me, owned by a Mr Bishop - to his credit though, never seen it mis-spaced or with an extra bolt.

I'd say its the other way around, he's tried turning R15HUP into B15HOP with black cap bolts, but then been pulled up on it and replaced them with yellow ones.
That would explain it. Wondered why you would change B15HOP into that. Still looks odd though with the misplaced bolts and shaved letters

I know this question has probably been asked before... but what's the site where you can see these previously sold prices?

Just go on the DVLA Auction site and click into auction sold search and put in a previously sold number...

White Audi spotted on the A331 Sunday morning P15 P00.

Couldn't quite comprehend why you would want a number plate like that

Take a look at the one I posted a few pages back. Something to do with a watersports fetish perhaps?

I love this thread. It is my fave.

Illegal chavvery, yes.
But as I have posted many times before, we love to see, and laugh at, the vanity, low self esteem and insecurities of any driver with a personal plate, chav or otherwise.
You need your own plate .... KN08 EAD blah
I saw it for sale in the Sunday Times, but was far too expensive for my meagre pension. Purchased by a PHer possibly?

Seriously though, what is wrong with pointing out the reasons that drivers have personal/chav plates?

It has to be one or a combination of the reasons stated. Why else would one drive around with your own name displayed for all to see, on you car?

(sse two previous posts.)

Well might you ask? The owner has no regard for the law presumably.

Or is driven by someone who used to be called Sevenony, but is now called Seventonia?

P11GY O on a White Evoque in Frimley.

Not entirely sure what that's meant to spell - unless it's a poor attempt at Piggy confused
