Yeah. The blacked out rear windows give it away. IIRC the rears on the real thing are fixed, and cover the B-pillar. This just looks like what most do with their 500/600/55 & 65s and tint the rear moveable window.

Wheel also look like Lensos or something, but not what you'd get on the Black Series.

How can you tell? Headlights are very much '08 which requires different shape bonnet
Is the aerial the clue? confused
eta: too slow :fume:
Is the rear end also just slightly.. er.. different? maybe less tapered on the facelifts? and the rake too?

I assume by the number plate. It is not hard to get the facelifted nose onto the car, much like the Range Rovers that you often see with the slimmer LED headlights from the facelift even though they could be twelve years old.

You are right. As past and present SL men, then we should spot those things, right? smile

Plate check to start with but many have been converted,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2012-Mercedes-SL-65-AMG-...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2012-LHD-Mercedes-SL-65-...

http://www.benzworld.org/forums/r230-sl-class/1506...

Always see these things on ebay with horrendous interiors usually.

OH yes, of course, isn't that the new Range Rover Sport Closet? Looks like he’s scared to come out of it?
He likes the colour pink? Oh me must be a repressed homosexual.

Bit of a last century attitude.
Right though. wink
Wrong. This was his wifes car before she got the, unique, Bentley. At that time his car was an R8 with red highlights which went back to be done blue due to the p*** taking he got off his team mates.

There's a wrapped yellow Phantom D/H here (15 miles south of Doncaster), would be surprised if the owner had an SLR too.. I hope there's not two yellow ones going about! Does not work for me.
It will probably be the same one, wasn't sure if it was wrapped or painted.
