I spotted what will be a pretty rare sight on the roads I reckon, all £38k+ of it...

The hatch version is rare enough as it is let alone the convertible

Spotted in a very rainy street off Great Portland
Every time I see something like that I think back to the Techart Cayenne we had in for repair some years ago (which was more tasteful than that, but only just)They wanted a fibreglass repair because a replacement (rear) bumper was 'expensive' - I was totally curious as to what 'expensive' meant and so rang the Techart distributor.
He knew instantly what I wanted and which car it was for (there only being a handful in the country at the time) and he quoted a price of over £2000+VAT - but that was only the upper part of the rear bumper and there was another bit which was over £1000+VAT to finish off the job.
I'm not kidding here - over £3000+VAT for 2 pieces of fibreglass to make your car look like this
I'm not even sure how much that's different from stock but the front bumper probably costs a gazillion gijillion pounds!

Although it is at the Trafford Center, so will fit in well with all the other tacky stuff there.Still, it does appear to be a rather lot of tat stuck to probably a nicely engineered conversion

I'm assuming that's a convertible with a hard top as the proportions all look a little 'skewed'

Its probably the 996 to 997 conversion that is making you think that... just doesnt look right does it. I would bet on no power, mechanical or other upgrades.Still, it does appear to be a rather lot of tat stuck to probably a nicely engineered conversion

Bloody hideous though, to think that's up to £400k of Porsche!
Well, one is photographed on Albany highway in Wa, Australia.... And one has UK plates.
So the UK one must be au cheaper
