RE: You Know You Want To: Maserati Quattroporte

Well, I haven't had a chance to drive her for any distance yet. Having said that, she's a totally different beast to the 4200. The cabin is far more sophisticated, roomy, quieter and it's a very comfortable place to be. These loads more buttons. As I'm a real man, I'll not be reading the manual to find out what they all do. Instead, I shall stab away at everything over the next few weeks. 400bhp gives the 42 some real urgency. The extra bulk of the QP using the same engine means that everything occurs in a more languid fashion. But, that's exactly what I was expecting. She's going to be perfect for what I plan to use her for - cross country and cross continental cruising.

I wouldn't worry. Combine Italian electrical know how with CANBUS and you'll probably find the operation of the buttons change from trip to trip anyhow.Pork said:
Sorry if I've missed it Blib, but did you sell your 42?
Did you do a PPI? Who did that and who will be looking after your car for you? Interested as I don't think you're a million miles from me...
