Why was the question not asked here on the forums out of interest? Many of us here don't 'do' social media, thereby severely limiting the number of actual PHers who'd see it.

I'm sure the answers would've been far more varied if it had been asked here.
What do you think these forums are ?

Twitter and facebook are just different forms. If you're not afraid of sharing your thoughts with strangers on an internet forum, sharing those thoughts with strangers on twitter is no different

Lovely varied selection of metal but it's the Maestro Turbo that's bringing me to the verge of white wee-wee.

Interested to know the story behind that Cortina - looks like it could be hiding something useful under the bonnet..
My thoughts exactlu, also a lovely MK2 escort, does the owner use this for rallying or for shows?

They look really good now, so much character and agression in comparison to the euro blobs we get now. It's even still on the pace with the modern stuff.

Hi Im Michael

New to the Pistonheads Forum. But Tweeted a pic of my Maestro Turbo and really happy it was chosen by pistonheads. Thanks for Comments on it smile
I've always loved the montego's and maestro's, i'm glad they are finally being recognized after all the years of jokes against them. Very nice car.

MG Maestro Turbo, used to have one of these and loved it. All my mates had escort turbos and used to call it the jelly mould but it was one quick jelly mould after a trip to motobuild (think that was the tuners name).

The black ones were the rarest of all. Mine was red reg. F100 UWK if its still out there, probably rusted away now though smile

Is the Auburn Speedster in England? What an amazing creation, I would love to see it in the metal. hopefully it will be at Goodwood for the next Pistonheads SS.

Social Media, not for me either. Was on facebook about 3years ago for a couple of months, what a complete load of bks.You end up witha load of "friends"you don't know and a load of other folk snooping in on your life.I have friends on it and all they do is bh about all the misunderstood messages and comments made by people all the time, hopeless. If you want to make contact with someone, text them or pick up the phone ferchrissakes!!
