I think it was on slicks.

This one is his brother in a 2.5 litre 1JZ-engined Supra with a 5-speed, as opposed to the standard 2ZJ 3 litre and 6-speed. R888s on this one. No speedo shots, but a better microphone.

Driver broke his left leg by smashing it against the gear lever.

Seems like a poor design decision to have the gearlever in that position to me.
