Now, three years later, I wonder if Autocar magazine were a little irked by that result and decided to have a re-run. This time against a 600bhp rallycross car, an Atom 3.5 supercharged, and.................a very heavy bloke on an 18 year old bike with less than 130bhp:

There's an explanation in the comments that Team RC Express were due to compete but couldn't get their bike back from the IOM in time so the only PH staff member with a bike licence stepped up in 'Show must go on' fashion.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTAUV1Yj4NE

Still pretty rubbish stuff though, only 1/8th mile and wet track massively weighted towards the rallycross car

Joining from the slip road, matching the speed of the truck, staying on the inside, probably no Fresnel lens on the window of the HGV and no proximity alert system....recipe for disaster.Edited by Digby on Wednesday 6th April 19:51
