Maybe I'm just getting old and maybe (as JAYB suggests) this Lexus is an attempt to show what they can do, but I just prefer fast limos with a pinch of discretion
This looks great IMO, just enough to let you know it's got some punch
Love it especially in that colourThis looks great IMO, just enough to let you know it's got some punch
Its ok them making a concept but if they put it into production will it actually be successful? I dont know about anyone else but I see far more M3s, RS4s and C63s than I do ISFs , and from what I hear the ISF is actually a very good car

Yes, but what is the point of showing a picture of the most refrained offering from AMG as a comparison? This looks great IMO, just enough to let you know it's got some punch
Why not C63 AMG Black? It's comparatively more Halfords than the Lexus. But it's great because of who makes it.

Because it's showing a comparison to the Merc limo equivalent and there is no S-class black. The C-class is more IS, this S63 is the nearest LS rival from the AMG range, which I assume is an audience Lexus want to steal. Why not C63 AMG Black? It's comparatively more Halfords than the Lexus. No C-Class black owner will suddenly want a big limo...well, not many anyway.

No.
The AMG S-Class gives you the power of an AMG in a slightly more aggressive business suit. It's non-shouty power for those that want comfort but aren't ready to give up the excitement of driving.
This looks like an ex-Max Power cover car that is far too shouty for most people in this market.
I'm alittle very disappointed...but that's just me
Given the sort of markets where limos from AMG and the likes of Brabus et al are likely to end up, I fear you might hold the tastes of potential customers in too high a regard... It's been said and I'll say it again... for an in-house attempt, the styling is fugly.
I just hope all 4 exhausts work despite their ridiculousness and awkward positioning. This is becoming a trend though... What's the deal with the black inserts and quad exhausts these days? A lot of AMG Mercs are spoiled due to this....
