Spec i love, boy racer evo wk totally ruins it for me. This winged horse of chav tat makes a gtr look understated.
Why is the c63 amg so cool? It's brutal but not bling (as opposed o the black version, which looks totally charver).

It doesn't offend me but neither does it make me want it (the engine looks good on paper though). Then again, I'm not the LS demographic, let alone in the mark for a luxury saloon in the >£80k bracket...
Personal taste, but I think they could sell something like this (i.e. a bigger ISF) with an option for the standard body and more discreet wheels. That said, I'm not sure that it's really any more "out there" than some of the premium eurothrash offerings (Brabus, Hamann etc.) but then these aren't in house...

Remember what Lexus stands for - Luxury Export to US . The yanks will love this - it's proper gangster . Personally I love it . Who gives a toss about badge/branding. Lexus make a superb car. This thing will be properly built , better than any BMW/Merc offering . When you get passed by one of these blowing your doors completely off your AMG/ M BMW you'll reconsider. To think of the Lexus ethos being a luxury brand , the fact they've built this is simply outrageous in an age now of everything being eco/watered down rubbish. Lexus - I applaud you !

I think these photos have been put out deliberately to generate the noise seen in the above comments, so well done Lexus marketing dept.
Doubtful that the production version will look as outlandish, but who knows?

Too much styling, would be more attractive with a subtle look. As someone else stated, it might just be a "look what we can do" exercise.
I assume Lexus engines are bulletproof, then why shouldn't they push out more hp from their engines? American and Middle-Eastern markets love crazy hp, so there probably is a small market niche for this.

Isn't it just great to see more of the usual badge snob, tuning is for chavs comments when something like this comes along.
This IS is a cracking bonkers machine that looks bloody good. I'm pretty sure the venting/scoops in the bonnet are there for more than just looks, and the Max Power comparisons are so old and unintelligent it beggars belief they're still being used.
I dare say this is probably as well as or better bolted together in and out, and giving more bang per buck than the usual German offerings that are too busy wanting to part you from as much of your hard earned as possible just because of 'The badge' and a few extra ponies.
I'd rather have this Lexus over any BMW, Merc, or Audi come to that.

The oriental manufacturers do this all the time - i'd love a scooby, except they look so halfords. If they made a wrx without all the max power bits, I'd be driving one now. Instead, i'm running an rs4 because the recent m3 is too in your face to be accepted at work.

Granted I won't be in the market for either until they are about 20 years old, but the Merc looks woefully boring in comparison. And If the AMGs are built anything like the vanilla w221s it'll be woefully disappointing interior/comfort/driver interface wise as well. I had 20 minutes in a w221 a while back, being the first Benz I've driven let alone the first S Class I was expecting something special... Easily the most disappointing car I've ever driven. The crap stalk mounted gear selector was enough to make me want to get a gallon of petrol and some matches for it alone.

sadness and despair how youre being limited to such monotony in order to 'impress' strangers on the basis of someone elses opinions.
This is the main problem of the UK 'fashion clone' attitude in a nutshell.
An incredible lack of knowledge combined with a comically aimless pomposity.
We are currently enduring the worst period of car banality in history, cars like this are a breath of fresh air in a sea of boring tedium, point in case are cars like Audi and BMW.
B O R I N G on every level.
The trouble is the clones dont even know what they are looking at let alone if its good or quality.
Instead their 'choice' is guided by a magazine rating.
And because they all only read 1 magazine they all end up in the same car.
When will it end?

Talk about advertising your own ignorance, they obviously couldnt even tell a tuned car from a stock car unless a magazine has told them what to think.
