If nothing else puts you off, then surely knowing that Justin Beiber has one, made worse by he fact it was modified by West Coast Customs
Why would anyone be so shallow to care who else owns the same model of car?

1. I still can't see the point unless you truly are that shallow.
2. That actually looks better than the white one in the article. Not sure about the doors, but I'm sure there are far worse looking vehicles about.

Wait.....

how about this.

Guess that means you'd have to be a complete nobber to buy a BMW too then, either that or it really doesn't matter idea

Home market brand new prices are $64515 to $74770 - which is £40024 to £46386 in our British Pounds. Lump 20% VAT on that, and the price is about right.

Actually, I have almost no idea who they are? I thought they were some kid on US telly. If they have a car then I guess I'm wrong on the age thing.... Basically heard of the name, but no idea who they are, what they do or what they look like.

The chap that runs or Houston office has one of these in black (he's a Brit). It looks awesome in the flesh, I would definitely get one if I was living over there.

I know these are older models and use different engines and are likely slower/worse performers. But visually I think they both look better (IMO).

Not convinced by the styling and that colour is awful, but I love the idea and it sounds like the execution is pretty good. Certainly more interesting than putting yet another M3/M6 on the road.
Well I've only ever seen one current shape M6 on the roads and that was in Austria, so I'd hardly say they were common!

I like this thing despite the hideous looks. A decent car with more power than you need.

But I think you're going to have to be seriously into your America metal to buy one instead of a GTR (I know, I kbnow!) for similar money new.

Exactly, he also has a Ferrari 458, so I guess that counts those out.

I wanted the last CTS-V so much, it hurt. That had the raunchy LS6 C5 Z06 engine with a paltry 405hp but it was a good car. the only thing that stopped me was the strengthened exchange rate and the slow dpreciation in the US meaning it was never going to be a bargain.

I also love this generation CTS-V - it stands out as different but I would also far prefer the saloon to this slabby coupe and the white is just a terrible colour that accentuates the rump-heavy design. Time was when a 2 door version was de rigeur and the one to have but this is the exception that proves the rule and it would be the better looking saloon for me every time and in red or black.

A new GTR starts at £74,480. The closest rival to this Caddy is probably the C63 AMG coupe.

Fair point, i assumed the £50k price was the US price converted into sterling so you would need to add significant tax and import costs but I must be wrong. Certainly a bargain either way, even more so when you remember the GTR is a bargain itself for the performance!
