That, I could understand.....but for that purpose. Doing the weekly shop at Tesco in a standard looking 'orange' SUV/4x4 I would personally think "No!, ....just No!! WHY? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" or something less polite LOL
I know what you mean and yet I see myself looking at orange Subaru XV's and feeling wistful. I don't even like SUV's, much less half-arsed ones like the XV. And yet it seems more desirable in orange... Maybe I'll grow out of that.

Don't worry. I would never actually buy one.

Would have the pair of them with matching stickers etc.

Might end up lime greeny yellow like the cars we have for http://experience4x4.com/

That way the advertisement might acctually be usefull unlike most peoples.

Not decided as orange looks sexy as fk on track cars.

Yeah, they're not bad biggrin

OK, for fear of contradicting myself, I LOVE THIS !!! Not a boring SUV, an AWESOME one !! and Orange just emphasises that 'Look at me, I'm driving a big arse truck and you need to give me attention because of it' factor.

Try driving one if you ever get the chance, they're every bit as silly and awesome as they look. smile

In the past I have mainly gone for sensible, safe colours such as silver and errr silver.I have now gone for an orange Cayman S Sport. So far peoples responses have been very positive but there is a niggling feeling that this car/colour combo might attract the wrong sort of attention.

For those of you that have had bright, dare I say, in your face cars what have been the positives and the negatives??
so seeing as yellow is bright it kinda counts wink

The last of the three RS2000's I owned was Vista Orange - spent 6 months trying to track down one in that colour.......but, back in the 1970's/early 1980's, in the era before 'resale grey' became the most popular colour for cars, Orange was a very popular colour.

I wish more manufacturers would get a bit more adventurous and offer bolder, brighter colours on their colour charts.

Had the option of choosing Tangerine Scream when I was ordering my new 2012 Focus ST but my Bodyshop guy said it would be a nightmare to paint match if it ever needed any work done so I picked a solid red.

Seen a Tangerine Scream car in the dealer a few weeks later, it is a stunning colour somewhere between yellow and orange but glad I picked the red (see my profile pic)

When the TT 3.2 was launched, all the publicity used photos of the car in orange:

I loved it, it really suited the car but we took one in p/ex and couldn't give it away.
The manufacturers would produce any colour you can imagine but they don't sell, consequently, they stopped offering them. People just don't (in the main) buy bright/ different colours.

Saw one of this on the road just few hours ago although its black. Massive road presence which at first I thought was some kind of tank!

Off topic, but how do you find the RS clutch? I've broken my promise not to mod my ST and I'm getting to the point where I may need to get one fitted.

ETA: mine is Performance Blue though (not that it makes a difference to the clutch wink )
Heavier than the ST, but with a more aggressive bite. No heavier than a TDCi pedal. If your local to me (Sheffield) your welcome to take a test.
