Ultimate Orange car:

I took this at a track day at Silverstone relatively recently - unfortunate that photograph just don't do the colour any justice, it was absolutely gleaming, the colour looks so incredibly deep.

This was also there the same day:

I was told that they were owned by the same person

One should be careful before making such a claim!

It depends greatly on the styling of the car, I had a classic Impreza in silver and got it a full respray in Harley Davidson orange pearl as it was never going to be subtle. It had in your face features such as the rear spoiler and loud flat four burble so I think it worked.

I wouldn't fancy a stock mainstream large or midsize car (small cars can pull off lairy colours IMO) such as a Mondeo etc.

It attracted attention wherever I went both from public and police, but you've got to take the rough with the smooth.

That's lovely smile Twin exhausts?
Yeah bit too much overkill for a 998cc loose so much power through lack of back pressure...

When its a 1293 and I stick the supercharger on may be more justified wink

Might be too much back pressure? I can't remember either way I was explained that a 3" is no good for a 998 should be more like 1 3/4"

Not really. M8F wins by quite a margin! One is a limp wristed nannying F1 car, the other packs about 1000hp and wants to kill you.

My old beastie, I do miss it. I thought the colour was great although everyone in the office used to call it brown.

Is that burnt orange on the Elise? Usually prefer Chrome Orange but in that light the burnt looks amazing (assuming it is burnt and not chrome). I guess when I see them in UK light it's not usually under the warm glow of the sun..
