That looks FANTASTIC!!

And you don't think the OP would have actually parted with £1,500 do you?

How would you like some free publicity on the UKs biggest motoring web site..?

Free publicity for something everyone has condemned as not being remotely worth it and looking rubbish? That worked well.

Good God, that looks awful...

Would be interested to hear what it's like to live with, though.
Like living with an awful thing!

the colour is fabulously awful, the idea is just brilliant!
Tristan has some serious guts to do it to his own (lovely looking) scooby, and its got everyone 'talking'.

its got me thinking, it may be a good idea for protecting alloys in the winter? a spare pair of wheels is expensive and a waste of space.
still i wont go matt purple!

also makes a change for an article not to involve a barge, a 911 or an mx-5 (although at least one did have to be mentioned!)

looking forward to the follow up in 6 months...

Looks a bit Pixar to me..... Didn't a Micra become a balloon car? And, all the bad bits look more pronounced?
Oh b I canot decide if its bad or good but good on yer mate for having a go, if it lasts then it will be a good way of making a box look desirable

worrying about resale values is why we've ended up with everyone driving a silver diesel hatchback in a spec chosen by the salesman.
This. This. This.

I was at a meeting this week at a hotel just off a motorway junction. You know the type... I was early and bored so counted the cars in the car park. Thirty were white, silver or black. Two were red. One was green.

Celebrate diversity! Embrace anything which is different! That sounds a bit gay but FFS if you don't like it nobody is making you do it.

£1,500 is the price for the rattle cans of plastic stuff say the car had been done by the OP?

Agree. All I have to add is...
It's Lego!
You have turned your scooby into Lego! Well done, sir.

I over reacted earlier. It was a knee-jerk response to the colour, cost and quality(from what I could see in the pic).
I still don't like what's been done to the Scooby, but it looks like the product might have it's uses. A few coats on wheels for protection or experimenting with changing the colour for a few months, perhaps.
