Makes no sense whatsoever - awesome.

That said, I can't help but thinking that the older ones that looked like DefendersWildcats, instead of the effete nancy-footballer-boy RR Sport, were about a thousand times cooler.

Fixed that for you and yes, I think you're right. (Plus they had rear-mounted TVR-Power V8's, which is off-the-scale cool.)

I thought all Tomcats/Wildcats were front mid engined?? With the rear body work being to channel air to rear mounted rads and enclose a couple of spare wheels/tyres?

Ridiculous but I want one so badly that it hurts!

An opportunity for New Year pedantry but the avoidance of something that you are heading towards sideways will not be improved by hitting the brakes!

"Even on standard Range Rover Sport four-piston calipers and discs it'll lock the wheels before I can say shhh... as we head for that large 100-year-old oak at an alarming rate. Sideways."
