The Ls7 produces 500bhp out of the box, dependant on exhaust/intake and fuel but around that figure im sure this car will be putting down.

Exhausts look ridiculous. Sorry.
Sound alright mind scratchchin
Think the low view makes them stand out too much, probably not as obvious when seen at normal height maybe?

Amazing. What a noise. Drool.

Though i would echo some comments and say the exhausts look stupid. I also hate TVR clocks/speedo's with a passion. They look like somet out of a cereal box.

Terrible wheels. May as well be made of cheese. The SP12s are a massive improvement.

Brilliant engine to use, such a great performer even in stock form, but with a camshaft and intake / exhaust mods I understand these engines can put out over 600hp. Knight Racing Engines have achieved this I'm sure. BTW, is there a balance pipe on the exhaust? Is there even room for one??

Great article, beautiful car and fantastic workmanship/vision. This is exactly what Pistonheads is all about. I'd absolutely love to have the time and money to make myself a bespoke TVR like this and it's hats off to Simon for this effort.

Brilliant!

Performance figures? 0-100 in 8-ish I presume . . .
Given that a standard Tuscan S with sticky tyres will do it in 8.08s (as tested by Autocar some years ago), this I'm sure will knock a chunk off that time.

I can't help wondering whether, had TVR bought in LS engines back in 1998, whether they might still be here.
I would certainly have been more inclined to have bought one and probably would have.

Without a shadow of doubt, creating their own engines was the downfall. The amount of cars that had to go back to be repaired was rediculous. My car was in 6 times for rebuild (before I bought it) under warranty. That 1 car must have cost them a fortune alone, never mind the others that had been back.

TVR did great when they were borrowing engines from other manufacturers.
Nothing wrong with the AJP - although I accept the Speed Six debacle was probably instrumental in their downfall. I also love the sound of the converted Tuscan biggrin
