stuff about handling etc
It wasn't too clever when I originally picked up the standard car in 06 coming from the Clio Trophy, but fabulous now. Need to bear in mind I'd spent a number of years working on the handling before upping the power...shocks (3 different types), tyres (4 different types) plus different widths, different bushing, lots of different set-ups etc etc etcIt can keep a well driven Nissan GTR honest down the Bormio side of the Stelvio but the footage isn't suitable for a public forum
Cracking write up.
Loving reflex charcoal on a Tuscan, just seems to suit the curves. If I ever get to a stage of being able to afford a respray then it'll be right up there on the shortlist.
How do you find those seats? Not that the std Tuscan ones are that comfy but I just can't imagine having so little padding unless these are full on custom ones taken from a mould?
Any chance of some Hi-Res versions of the pics?

Performance figures? 0-100 in 8-ish I presume . . .
Given that a standard Tuscan S with sticky tyres will do it in 8.08s (as tested by Autocar some years ago), this I'm sure will knock a chunk off that time. Fantastic article, well written, and very well thought out modifications - those seats are well sexy, need a little padding for long distances surely ??

Really ? 0-100mph in 8.08s ? That's a lot faster that TVR quoted isn't it for a 4.0S engine ??

With the CR 'box, which allowed 60 in first and 100 in second I believe, hence the 3.68 seconds they recorded to 60 in the same test.Fantastic article, well written, and very well thought out modifications - those seats are well sexy, need a little padding for long distances surely ??
On another note, what a beautiful looking car. Not the route I would go down with the engine, simply because it isn't "pure Blackpool", but each to their own. The baboon's arse dash in the Tuscan 2 is the closest TVR ever got aesthetically to the Cerbera in my opinion, it looks absolutely superb.

Brilliant engine to use, such a great performer even in stock form, but with a camshaft and intake / exhaust mods I understand these engines can put out over 600hp. Knight Racing Engines have achieved this I'm sure. BTW, is there a balance pipe on the exhaust? Is there even room for one??
I think if you say sod the emissions more can be achieved still, although how wild the cam would have to be is another matter.Excellent.
Looks great, I really would love a Tuscan too.
Personally I have always preferred the shape of the mk1, would love one with this LS7 conversion (and standard carbon cans, sorry but agree with the other comments on the exhausts! - that is the only thing I'd change though)
What's the difference in weight between the Speed 6 and the LS7?
