I like it, although not sure what they're thinking with the engines it's being launched with. If they want to sell any in Europe it should be launching with a 2.0 diesel and a 2.0 turbo petrol, hint at a hot version 'at some point in the future', and sort the rest out later.
They don't give a monkeys about Europe.Asia & the USA dont "do" diesel at the moment, its all hybrid.
Infiniti always get a slating on here, but I wonder how many of you have actually sat in one? Very few I would hazard a guess. I have, a G37 as well as my own G35, and very nice it was too. Far nicer than the A4 I had previously, and nicer than the BMW my friend had of the same age. G37 wise, compared to the Audi A6 of my BIL's, they are very similar material-wise, they are just designed differently. The Infiniti was far more sweeping, and curvy compared to the relative straight lines of the Audi.
Either way, some matt looking pictures seldom do cars any good. It is better viewed in the flesh. As for depreciation, hardly a surprise when some folks are too stubborn to actually give something a genuine chance. Probably the same people who said they would never drive a Honda, or Hyundai regardless of the quality of the car.

It will be a challenge indeed to pull a sale from the usual German suspects. In this day and age it will have to be very persuasive to hit the company car fleets or be the opt out private choice. I would be interested to hear what their predicted UK sales would be this year. Any ideas what a realistic first and second target might be?

I have, and liked both the G35 and G37, but then they were nicely styled and genuinely innovative. Either way, some matt looking pictures seldom do cars any good. It is better viewed in the flesh. The Q50 just seems like a bit of a pastiche / generic composite that someone's decided needed some of the FX35 style 'muscular design' at the last minute, to my eye at least.
It reminds me of the cars you get in Grand Theft Auto- you know it's basically meant to be something else, but because it's not licensed by the manufactures it borrows some cues and gives a big nod and a wink to the original. Perhaps they should have called it the BNV Monaudi or something
It depends what it looks like in the flesh. Both the 35 and the 37, as well as the FX look better in the flesh than on pictures, especially seeming airbrushed type stuff. I'll wait until then before deciding on looks. That was sort of why I only commented on what the previous models felt like.
By the way, I got a 5 minute drive of the M56. Well worth a go in one of those. Very smooth, feels huge inside, and really nice power delivery.

Awful. You'd have to be truly bonkers to spend good money on one of those.
Have you read this again, your making a statement that "you would have to be truly bonkers to ......" then your saying that its an opinion. Troll.Pistonheads yet again proving it is inhabited by some of the most difficult people alive.
