And those seats don't really look like they will hug you very well !!
The seats look like standard issue focus items with covers on that are only fit for a mini cab attached. Surely they could have done better for such a big show. Perhaps not looking at the state of the exterior.

Its a pity they did not put the front grille of the lower models on which look far better, however the car itself is a very good daily driver.

Plenty of new exhausts already available for this and companies chomping at the bit for suspension and air filters etc, without the Shelby branding and invariaby cheaper and available now.

Odd really. I can only assume the US spec is different as the UK ones come with nice nice Recaro's. At least the ST3 I drove a few days ago did...

It's very common for US spec cars to have vastly inferior seats to UK/Japanese models, with very minimal bolstering.

The US spec DC2 Integra Type-R seats are absolute cack in comparison to the Recaros everywhere else got.

Wow, you would have to be barking to pay $15000 on top of list for that!

Quite like one to be honest. If I get the same pep as my mountune Mk2 ST as in the Mk3 with the Mountune fitted and an extra 6 or 7 mpg then I would be happy. Looks are not great, but I think its a grower to be honest. Think of the Bangle Beemers ? Now accepted as being OK. The only bit I think looks a bit meh is the bonnet gap and the fuel cap under the rear light, having looked round one. Seats are lovely, depending on what model you go for colourwise, but I would have it drab black or grey not garish coloured. So its Panther black with shadow grey alloys...............one day......

I think the back end looks much better now they've got shot of that awful exhaust, but it still looks like an awful ST everywhere else. The seats look crap, but they must be super wide to accomodate the yank backside.

Poor side support due to having to cater for corpulent customers.

Carrol Shelby is turning in his grave.
Agreed. Looks like a cynical marketing ploy to me.
You sure?

And the car it was based on was a Talbot Horizon.

The colour or the seat itself?

In black they look rather good for a hot hatch. In the ones I have driven they hold you in place pretty well.
The colour and where it has been applied, the naff ST and Recaro monikering and the square(ish) head restraits just scream McDonalds car park chav to me.

I'd rather bounce on my cock to Edinburgh and back then be seen in that Focus!

I was talking about the orange interior and exterior Focus being gash and a chav-wagon. A grey one wouldn't offend me quite as much! biggrin

That GLHS is unbelievably cool.
