Also what the hell is that line across the middle of the bonnet on the rendering. It's completely asymmetrical and doesn't exist on the concept as far as I can see. Same with the line across the roof.
Duuuh, it's a reflection. rolleyes
Well obviously it's not actually an anything because it's a picture, but it looks like a strange asymmetric crease in the bodywork. hehe

I reckon it will:

> be too expensive
> not be as good as a Cayman (but cost the same)
> the engine won't justify the asking price (no singing n/a flat 6)
> look a bit over-styled

I also predict the DNA system will end up being left in either 'Normal' or 'Dynamic' with both settings being a compromise. 'Dynamic' will make the electric power steering feel artificially weighted and the throttle response too sharp. 'Normal' will have over-intrusive traction control but more natural steering feel.

I hope I'm wrong about all these things.

I like it.

I suspect the interior wont be quite as good as the prototype, but would be great if it was close.

think it looks much better in a different colour to silver too.

Im realy looking forward to seeing the production spec of this. Would be impressed with a 1000kg weight and circa 240-260bhp.
IMO a 'modernised' Exige. (although, truth be told, id still rather a nice S1 exige as a toy)

Well, we said the same about the Cayenne and Panamera, yet they still produced them. Good thing nobody is forcing anyone to buy anything.

yes More variety is never a bad thing. Even the Porsche Cayenne has its place.

Massively looking forward to seeing what happens with the 4C production car.

I have spent a lot of time around a friends now sold 8C, including a few days driving it myself in Belgium. It has to be the most fawned over car looks-wise for a decade, sadly in the metal it has very weak road presence and just doesn't feel at all special. It sounds good, but so it should with that engine, and looks good in a photoshoot, that's it. I hope Alfa/Fiat do a better job with the 4C.

There's a bit of the Nissan Juke to those headlights, I like the turbine rear lights though.

That does look rather fussy and lumpy. I hope the final car is a lot more fluid and easier on the eye. I desperately want to love this...

Looks fine to me - certainly there are no other contemporary sports cars that look significantly better, and plenty that look worse.

I disagree. From that front 3/4 angle the Z4M or cayman look more pleasing.

The Z4 looks like Optimus Prime's cock. The Cayman looks OK, but I think this looks less bland and play-it-safe.

If the tub really is carbonfibre then I'd be astounded if it comes in at less than £50-£60k without options.

The concept looked amazing, but if the rumours of a 50 to 60k price are true there going to need to put a lot more under the bonnet than a 1.7 litre turbo 4, no matter how good it is, selling an inline 4 at these kind of prices is a real hardsell no matter how good the rest of the package is
