Not a huge fan of any 911 to be honest and as a concept the Singer still does nothing for me.
i just dont get a comment like that.
Well allow me to make it a bit more simple to understand. I think 911's are fk ugly. The only one I even like the look of slightly is the GT3 RS.
fair enough and the concept of re-engineering something old to perform better than new doesnt appeal either. so just new things, crashed through halfords? smile

I just can't understand why someone would want to spend the best part of half a million dollars on a car that still looks like a 911. I have no problem with restoring or improving any car. But when it still looks fk ugly at the end of it it's not for me. I'd take a hakosuka GTR instead any day of the week.

Proof that on PH, an opinion isn't something that can just be accepted....

There's a long list of cars I'd buy over the Singer, new and old.

He's young and loves Skylines, he has to hate 911s, it's the rules.

PH - stereotypes matter.

I'm assuming your maybe SkylineDan by another name?

I remember reading quite a few of your posts that started "I don't like 911's anyway but..."

It's not a dig, it's just that it's the stereotype that fits with a lot of youngsters who love GTR's, they hate the 911 for some strange reason and justify it by saying it looks ugly.

That orange one is nothing but outstanding to look at.

Wrong username smile

I've just never liked them, I don't doubt for a second that the new ones are good to drive, handle well blah blah blah, but they're just the VW/Audi of the Supercar world, plain to look at, dull, and the generic choice of the person who has the money but doesn't really know what yo buy. Despite that though, I think the Cayman is a great looking car, especially in R spec, I've no idea how that logic works either...

Don't recall ever claiming it was. What's your point? But as if to prove my point about the type of person that buys a 911... check garage, 911, 320d and A4 S-Line....

I genuinely didn't realise that this site had got so bad one person not liking a car can get this reaction. Is it because I dare to disagree with CH's opinion on something, because it's a Porsche or a mix of both?

your initial comment does not make a whole lot of sense to me as a car enthusiast. that you, like many, think the 911 is ugly is fine but your replies and generalisations of porsches and their owners have been puerile.

i'm sorry. it was my fault. in my defence i wasn't expecting quite the level of dimwittery that followed. i thought the length of the video would have acted as a filter wink
