This is just an awsome car , attention to detail typical mcclaren, if you compare a pagini or kone egg swedish thing close up this mcclaren shows them up for what poor design they are, ferrari will need to really be on there game to beat this.
Have you seen any of the documentaries about Koenigsegg?
The term "poor design" is certainly not a phrase that springs to mind!

Just because the Agera externally still looks quite similar to the earlier CCX etc it's more of a testament to the original overall design being so good in the first place.

Does the rear wing really have to obscure the view through the rear window?
It's a supercar, practicality is a long way down the list compared to performance and aerodynamics. Actually come to think of it, how can that be the first thing that even came into your head??

It looks like Mclaren have yet again designed something that looks perfect, sounds amazing and no doubt goes like the starship enterprise.

yes saw one close up in a garage in park lane london was so dissapointed in magazines it looked great but in "the flesh" it looked very poor as did the zonda r parked next to it look at the front wheel radius around the wheel of the zonda ! looks like somebody has made it to fit a 13" wheel ,sorry this pap is not in same league as mcclaren buy british !

I'd be surprised if Subaru/Prodrive haven't done that already to be honest, or if nothing else there could be some legal issue with it further down the line...

It sounds good, but I cannot help but think the Enzo successor will trounce it in the noise stakes with its V12...

As car fans we are seriously blessed with what we have to look forward to this year.. Imagine the road tests! P1, Enzo.2, 918...

Each to their own though, personally I prefer to listen to a fully lit F40 or GrpB Quattro to the high pitch wail of N/A. Although to be fair to hear pretty much anything interesting pressing on is sheer aural delight cloud9

Genuine goose bump machine. Looks like a hefty dose of downforce is at work through those fast corners. Rumours of 800hp in the hybrid drivetrain will make for crushing oomph. Now a few hundred litres of boot space and we have a daily driver!

Looks better and better the more I see of it

And visibly fast. Faster than the next enzo?.......will be fascinating to find out

One things for sure tho, the Ferrari will annihilate this in the noise stakes

Yes. Oh all day long yes. We should be very proud of this as British petrolheads. Other countries would take lives to be able to have a chance at developing something like this. Fantastic work from the boys in Woking. Finally a moden car (bar the Zonda 760 RS and Murcielago SV) that I truly, truly desire.

just not in that bloody orange!

I'm sure it will be amazing to drive, but those looks are.....well.....challenging.

Of all these hypercard, so far, I still think the SSC Tuatara is by far the most interesting looking .
