Outstanding hehe

I agree it could have done with a tighter edit down to maybe two minutes, but it's awesome, and the guy can drive too! Great idea.

Who decided that our advertising guidelines for cars should be so po-faced and miserable?

I once took my MIL out for a drive in the morning to buy fresh rolls while she was visiting from England. 'Karl, why are there red and white stripes in the corner?' she asked, as we entered ExMühle.

That will stay with me forever, that will biggrin

I get about 300 miles from a full tank in my 370z. Costs about £100 to fill with posh unleaded.
Hmm, well coming from the 2.0 TDI anything will seem expensive, but i am currently on about 300 miles from about £37 of diesel.

so expecting my fuel bill to double is about right.

not too frightening, but sobering.

Milk in glass bottles eh?
Takes me back to the days of Gold Top and full fat cream on top lick unlike today's skimmed crap.

Looks like he not only missed his cream, he didn't even get his toast:
that bread comes out the toaster ...as bread!

It would take a lot more than a bloody Subaru for me to get out of a bed with that girl!

Needs teaching how to drive quickly on tarmac rather than sideways on the verges, a sat nav that doesn't take him through quarries (he goes a different way there and back), and a new toaster; that one is slow and doesn't brown properly.

My local Sainsbury's sells Jersey Gold Top. Plasic bottles but still lovely stuff.

:edit:

Oh, yeah, the advert. It was like a British one from the nineties, but with LHD, more drifting and a hotter bird. Made me want to buy a BRZ. A car advert hasn't done that to me for a long time.

Don't tell the missus, but it gave me a few thoughts about that blonde too...

Love this advert. Such a change from all the stupid ones we get with all the legislation about not being able to actually see a car being 'driven' properly.

Those shots of it hooning around in the quarry are more than a little reminiscent of the Aston in Quantum of Solace doing the same- top notch!
