It was the bouncing exhaust box that caught my attention initially.

Wow!

I wonder if that twin exit exhaust system was standard, along with the (missing) plastic wheel trims on the 1.2 litre (1,149cc) Renault Clio ('AUTHENTIQUE' special edition, no less wink )?

Every time it hit a bump the rear box would bounce up and down, as there were no rubbers anywhere.

'illest' stickers. Normally on cars driven by people with hats that also have stickers on.

Two knobs this week, both on the M1

Knob 1 on the northbound at Luton. The variable speed limit is set to 40mph, with the matrix signs warning of "caution obstruction". I slow to 40mph as indicated by sat nav, as do most other drivers. This was obviously too slow for the HGV that was now glued to my back bumper. He then starts to flash his lights , before pulling out and blaring his horn. Funny thing was, once we had passed the obstruction, I just overtook him again and gave him a little wave.;)

Knob 2 on the southbound M1 near Newport Pagnell. I'm in lane 3 overtaking slower cars, when I noticed the matrix signs ahead flashing "Workforce in road. Slow" and a 40 mph advisory, I gradually slow down and a little further on the matrix signs indicate that the lanes 1 and 2 are closed. Next thing I know, a silver Astra is closing at 80+mph as we are slowing for the roadworks. He continues to close rapidly, flashing his lights and aggressively tailgating. As it's only a short distance to the roadworks, I stand my ground, so he undertakes me and several other cars before slamming his brakes on to get back into lane 3. I might add that their were workmen still coning off the live lanes while all this knobbery was taking place, so he's lucky he didn't cause a massive accident.mad

Slowing down for advisory limits shown on matrix signs is not always a good idea . . . . especially the ones showing 20 mph on a clear-running (at that point) M40 motorway.

They are guidance for the wise . . . .

A young lady? named Felisia and her mini, whom i met on the M4/A329(M) south junction yesterday.
I am bimbling along theA329(M) the bus on the limiter in L1, letting all the faster traffic pass on the right. Young? Felisia wants to join the A329(M) from the M4 slip and i see her on the slip behind
me and expect her to join after me. The slip is running out when suddenly she decides wants to get in front and just misses my nearside front as she swings in. Goes at once to L2 at about 65 and gets panicky and drops straight back into L1 at 60mph,The gap Felisia chose was about 80ft but she decided to leave 60ft of that as a buffer causing the car behind her to take some action before they altered her back end.I knew it was about 60 as the bus was catching her up at a massive 0.62 leptons. Felisia then decided to turn off to Wokingham residents there
Dear Felisia please take pride in your driving or you may well become a headline in the local rag.

How do i know her name was Felisia?

Her Frigging nuberplate was

FEL151A

I think i met her brother later on that day. One the nine mile ride the roundabout with the A322 has three marked exit lanes on to the roundabout
LH is left turn only
Middle is Straight over and right turn, RH is right turn only

I am in the middle one and to get in the 'outer' lane to exit to Martind Heron means a bit od a LH turn to get in the lane, otherwise you could 'straightline' and cut up the guy in the RH lane.
So as i am going left, this turd brained cockroach just breezes out of the LH and takes my line. Now I am in a 4.5tonne bus, he is in a J reg bet up Fiesta. Who would win. After that he brake tests me several times along the road. The sad thing is i was at least 100yds behind him while he was doing this.
I dont suppose he reads this forum, in fact i wouldn't even trust him with crayons on his own.
It does make you wonder how some people get on the road

It probably was then. Wasn't entirely obvious, that's all.

Am I the only knob who tried for about five minutes to play the video clip?
