It's a cesspit of attention seeking opportunities and "like this post to save the endangered Babobo bird" rubbish. I only joined originally because it's useful for organising events among friends, though now I'm there I can't leave
The knobess (cock-socket?) whose Tonka (what else?) was parked in the space covered by water. (Waitrose, Worthing).
Not only did she not return her trolley to the collection point, she didn't even bother to move it from the rear of her van. She simply reversed, pushing the trolley into its current position in the traffic lane before driving off.
I hadn't noticed whether she had completed her animated telephone call (NOT hands free) before she moved off.
There would have been better picture(s) and perhaps a good story to post but I was accompanied by my good lady wife who does not share my enthusiasm of challenging chavs in public.
Loads of them today (very dull, patchy fog and throwing it down) without lights or just side lights (might as well not bother for all the good they do in these conditions).
Grey day, grey roads and silver/grey cars are not very visible
Perhaps I am the knob for driving in reduced visibility with my fog lights on (did switch them off when conditions cleared)!

Not sure if they are mandatory on all cars or if they have been disabled. Must be a Sussex thing.

1. On the M25 heading east towards the A13. Overcast, with heavy spray. 99% of people are driving sensibly and have decent gaps between each other. Enter Mr A3 TDI, who decides that it's perfectly OK to tailgate/cut people up in these conditions.
2. A13 heading towards Docklands. Condtions as above, or slightly worse. Knob in a silver Golf decides to undertake everybody using the filter lane for Barking, then lurches into lane 3. All with no indication AND no bloody lights!!!
3. Tatty Corsa B on the westbound M25 bimbling along in lane 4 holding up traffic, depite plenty of opportunity to move to the inside. Whoever was driving was obviously in his/her own little world. They failed to spot the marked 530d moving up behind, who had to resort to a quick flash of blues to gain their attention. Even then, they moved over in instalments. Lucky not to get pulled.

Was dropped off at night and next morning driven to workshop by pal. Investigates strong stench of fuel to find fuel lines near tank replaced with windscreen washer pipe! Also noted indicators weren't working and discovered no lights or indicators are even connected! Also been hit so hard in the front there are stacks of washers used to align front wings! Seems it was more important to spend cash on the massive rear wing and alloys with tyres that are too narrow!

Back when I had the invisible car and someone drove into the back of it at a roundabout there was minor damage to both cars involved. A bent bumper bracket and small mark on my car and the CLK needed a new grille, badge and fog light. By the time the driver who ran into me got his insurance involved his car needed a complete £3,500 front end, he had whiplash and I had reversed into him after overshooting the "give way" line.
If it wasn't for the CCTV at the roundabout and front view dash camera it could have gone his way or 50/50 at best.
I now have front and rear view cameras in whatever I drive.
All road traffic collisions are crime scenes as there will always be someone to blame or the risk of attempted fraud if you aren't careful.

That was the offically way to do it, as per the highway code (because each lane is a separate roadway).
It would be interesting if any driving instructors on PH have a view on this?

I'm not sure how you read what you read from that post but yes obviously each separate lane is a separate lane and yes you have to m/s/m, that doesn't mean you can hog, over taking lanes are still only for over taking and if you're not over taking you have to m/s/m yourself into a more lefterly lane.But, after taking my driving test, I took a further lessopn on motorway driving and was taught to treat each lane 'as a separate lane' - and hence each lane manouvre over the dotted line as a separate mirror/signal/move.
