One single thing that makes you think "knob" Vol 2
Discussion
The tt Passat driver in Dartford today who reversed his grungy heap in the Priory Centre car park so close to the offside of my car that I had to clamber into the passengers side to get in. Nor was it accidental, there was miles of room on his/her offside, and I mean almost half a bays worth as the next car to him/her was tiny and parked well away from the white line and the tt Passat was so close to mine not even my ultra slim 15 year old daughter could get between the cars.
It has been noted though, revenge is best served cold! I hope you're reading this you !

Is anyone familiar with the Hatfield Peveral sliproad onto the A12?
Do you ever get a 6th sense premonition type thing that the car in front is going to do something stupid?
Old woman decided to try and join a 70mph dual carriageway at about 40, fortunately I'd all but stopped at the top of the sliproad and watched it all unravel.....
It's a wonder she's managed to live this long.

thats what I was thinking... is there soneone here whos brought a passat snotter and going around winding people in this thread up??
If only , it seems that Passat man is hell bent on taking over the reins as biggest bell end from the long time holders of the 3 series/2.0 TDI Audi drivers. I certainly see more aggressive, speeding arses tooling around in Passats of all ages than BMW/Audi's these days, hell an Audi driver actually gave up on an overtake on me the other day... highly unusual.DJFish said:

Yes use it all the time, always been a bit of a tricky one, I always hang back and also look over the bridge to see whats coming. Have seen people cock it up and stop on the end....Do you ever get a 6th sense premonition type thing that the car in front is going to do something stupid?

Definately one where good planning and then some power help....
Cksocket in company branded Hilux who after I made a safe and legal overtake as he was accelerating rather slowly (after he'd pulled out when I stopped to let various people in/out of side roads), decided he needed to get back at me by undertaking (and speeding, as we approached a red light) in a bus lane, shortly before it ended, as I was indicating and waiting to move over into what would not have been a bus lane when we got to that bit. Then brake checked me as we pulled away.

...at the National Trust car park, Standon.
What's that? "Maybe it was tight on both sides?" Nope...
...and I'd only walked to the top of the short hill, and had to dash back for the camera. The big space to the left was there when this tagnut parked, so they could easily have parked it centrally in the available space. There were plenty of other empty space options too. Absolutely no need for this kind of ignorant, selfish fkwittery. None whatsoever.

Whilst this is true, it is not unusual to see HGV drivers trying every trick in the book to conserve momentum (for obvious reasons but it still doesn't give them carte blanche to be a knob or do illegal stuff like run red lights)
That would be a reasonable point, but the HGV was stationary waiting at the r/bout entrance and deliberately moved off as we approached.an anti knob this time.
On a major freeway north of Sydney today. Everyone traveling 110-115 km/h and traffic needed to slow almost to a stop because of an incident several kilometres ahead (no matrix signs are there to give advance warning)
Mr B Double driver (large articulated lorry with 2 trailers, like a road train) obviously had good vision from his high seating point. He saw that traffic was stopping, so he changed lanes so he was straddling both left and right lanes, slowed down to become effectively a rolling road block to prevent fast moving cars from possibly not slowing and rear ending much slower moving cars (me).
Fantastic and very professional piece of driving. Thanks you!!

Indeed, and if I'm a nob because of that then I will wear that hat with pride. Today I encountered a crap driver, in fact someone who shouldn't be driving.
Grey Peugeot 307.
Fist came in to park, swung in too fast and in two spaces, fat middle aged woman comes out, looks at parking and walks off, she was the only person to park in two spaces and probably had the crappiest car there.
It was a small car park and was quite busy.
We left at the same time and she reversed out without looking nearly hitting me, to say the honk of my horn made her jump is an understatement, the whole car jumped.
Finally, I was about to go left to leave the car park and she comes flying behind and overtakes to go right, couldn't see to the left because of me and nearly gets hit by a Land Rover.
While doing all this her mirrors were folded in, which would probably be why she didn't see me when reversing.
