I've got a psycho on my hands now.
Today I saw their car so casually walked past to see how bad their wing mirror was damaged.
I stood a little way back, texting a friend, when the female driver comes storming up to me accusing me of taking a photo of her car.
She's having a right old rant then prances off, leaving me gobsmacked.
Looks like she's a right idiot - the car was in a public place anyway so she can just FO.
Like I want to waste any more time on her.

Blue Golf GTD YC63YCY - thanks for taking off my wing mirror but not stopping.
Even when you drove back along the road and completely ignored me pointing to the stub that was left hoping you might stop, but instead you stubbornly just looked forward hoping no-one had seen.
Well today I see matey-boy parked up so I tap on the window and ask if they'd been down this road a few days ago and clipped a car.
Driver today was a youngish guy, but our dashcam had driver as a blonde.
I told him what happened and that we had it all on dashcam.
He became rather irate asking what I'm going to do about it.
At that point his blonde Mrs came to the car and wondered what was wrong.
When she figured out she was telling him to just go cos it's getting shouty.
I think they might be having a bit of a "discussion" at home

Looking right as im giving way in the left hand lane at a roundabout this morning when a car from behind me slithered past on the snow in the right hand lane, all 4 wheels locked, onto both roundabout lanes and stalled. Driving to the conditions obviously

Talking of impatients at traffic lights I was once peeped at and shouted at for not pulling forward at lights into the Cyclists box. Quite why pulling forward another 3ft on a red light made a difference to him I don't know but he was rather red in the face by the time the lights change.
Time to get out and inspect the back of your car. See nothing wrong and then ask the hooter why he honked smile.

waiting to turn right from a T with nothing aproaching from your left - approaching bottom feeders from the right usually anything in the audi vw group or beemers, fail to confirm their intention to turn left keeping you waiting then swinging the wheel over to the left hand side and slowing down from warp speed to crawling pace and then having time to do the "yeah so what " stare .........so many tools about.

Special mention for the Mercedes GL driver who decided that the right thing to do was drive around my car, and the car infront of me so he could join the queue of cars the other side of the box junction....in the box junction.

To the absolute knuckle dragging knobhead yesterday morning who decided it was a good idea to tailgate me. Accelerate at me and then brake at the last second for some unknown reason and then undertake me in heavy traffic and then nearly cause an accident by cutting up 4 cars is 100yrds. Absolute wker.

Weapons grade bell-end this morning.

30mph limit. Road splits into two lanes. Left lane is for straight ahead at the lights; right lane is for turning right only.

On the approach to the lights, I am in the right lane, having just overtaken a parked car. I signal to move back across into the left lane and Nobby McNob shoots up the inside at wide-open throttle in 2nd gear, having been on my bumper until then as I overtook the car.

I drop behind him and continue in the left lane. He then swings back into the right-hand lane (no idea why) for the junction. We are alongside each other at the junction. The road ahead goes from two lanes to one, with the left hand lane becoming a bus lane so that the left lane is merged into the right (which is a bit irritating given that the right-hand lane before the lights is right-turn-only).

He sees this. He obviously wants to go straight ahead. So I expect him to give it the beans and race in front of me to the merge point. Fair enough - I couldn't care any less. I pull of gently to let him go first. He matches my speed rather than pulling ahead. He then goes crazy, flashing his lights and hooting his horn when I merge in front of him rather than slamming on the anchors to go in behind.

WTF was his problem?! If he wanted to go in front, despite being in the wrong lane, why didn't he just bloody accelerate?!

For the first time in years, I confess to losing my st and shouting "fking grow up!" out of the window at him. It was quite satisfying.

Driving in London seems to have been much worse than usual in the last few weeks. Winter makes people grumpy, I guess.

You must have done something to upset him?

Like . . . being there?

The shoppers (or car parkers) of Guildford who drive into open-air car parks (the two at the bottom of North Street/the bus station seem to be worst) then stop right in the entrance way, forcing a queue back out onto the main road. As far as I can work out, they are sitting waiting to see a space become available. I'm calling them out as knobs because almost every time I've managed to squeeze past them I've found a space further round the car park that can't be seen from the entrance.

Special knob this morning goes to white CLA driver.
Coming out of my housing development is a junction, left & straight on lane, and right only lane, that goes into town, which is a short 2 lane merge

In the morning, the right turn lane always has lot of cars waiting - due to the phasing of the lights.
Some knobs always think they are more special and use the LH lane and go around the outside.

CLA knobber decides to do this, but rather than filter into the lane, goes around a car already making a right turn from the correct lane, then straddle both lanes and leave a massive gap in front, leaving people in the correct lane to sit in the box junction

The murderous twit who kept a steady 45mph along the NSL A35 on Tuesday evening for a good few miles who, when I found space to pass, decided he was having none of this and gave it the beans in his Corsa.

Took me far more road than required to pass him and the truck coming towards me on the other side of the road probably wasn't too pleased, either. He then of course proceeded to sit on my arse for the next 2 miles until turning off somewhere or other near Christchurch.

Probably! It was keeping up with the flow of the traffic too, which made it all the more odd.

Androids.

The multiple members of the human race who can't seem to interact with others, I think it's mainly a city thing, but all the same...

Came home to the parking garage earlier and saw one of the neighbours parked up just beside the barriers. Tried my fob and it wouldn't work. Remembered that the barrier had been open earlier for workmen to get in so found the relevant switch on the barrier itself and reset it.

Have a sign to the woman in the car that it was now working. Nothing. Just drove in without any acknowledgement behind me. I'm not sure how long she would have sat in a bovine state waiting for it to resolve itself, but you'd hope for a glimmer of thanks.

aholes.

We are becoming a society of humanoids. Where individualism and nonconformity are considered a mental illness. Look at all the Facebook "selfie" clones. It's sad.

As for how this is effecting driving habits you see a sea of drone Euroboxes driving the same route to the same jobs listening to the same radio station every day that plays the same twelve records in a loop. None paying any attention as its a Groundhog day effect and nothing ever happens anyway. Then all of a sudden an Emergency Service vehicle has to get through and they're so busy posting it on ttter they forget they are supposed to move out of the bloody way.

Speaking of dopey drivers, had one today. I was approaching a set of lights where there's a left filter lane and a right turn signalled separately. I see that the left lane has the green filter on, and no visible queue. Excellent, thinks I, I can go straight through. But no, there is actually a car stopped at the green filter, waiting for who knows what. She made no attempt to move off as I drove up behind and stopped, until I gave a pip on the horn. I'm curious how long she would have sat there had I not woken her up.

Yeah the state of thought death can be rather bemusing and annoying and more than occasionally dangerous. I've come across the opposite, around mid November the lights along from where I work changed their routine so that instead of all the traffic on one side of the dual carriageway moving off, including the turn right lane, then the other they changed so that the turn right lanes on both side have their own phase of light change as do the straight ahead. On more that one occasion I've had drivers in front of me move off as soon as they see the lights change, not taking a blind bit of notice that the lights in question are for the straight ahead only, it's only been blind luck that there's not been any traffic coming.

On the same junction I've seen two cars go right of the traffic island when turning right, again a small mercy that there wasn't any traffic, utterly devoid of any higher brain function.

Annoying. But isn't it recommended, when turning right at a T junction, not to pull out even if the oncoming traffic is indicating left ? Drivers have been known to leave indicators on when not required.

And apparently now indicating & NOT turning is a new crash for cash method of causing an accident
