They do have the brakes cabled the other way left front/right rear

How about the old BMW 1200GS and the new 1200GS? The shaft drive and exhaust changes sides. Would that count?!

Not a twin then! Based on the challenge as set that would be like finding two cars with the same badge and changed mechanicals due to a facelift/new model and saying they were different. Nowhere near LHD/RHD in my view.

I'm in France in a couple of weeks so will try then if it hasn't been done.

Berlin Mike's requirements are too difficult to satisfy. I suggest he be given a couple of days to set a different challenge, failing that someone else should do it (though obviously whoever set it wouldn't be able to participate).
