I agree and put it down to a lamentable lack of self-confidence ..........

And self-delusion; most people look at really tasty metal and think nice, wish it was mine, then they look at the driver and think he/she looks a reet twot.
Laughably wide of the mark sadly.

Would be seen in a new 911, wouldn't be seen in a Cayenne. Nothing to do with how much it costs = everyone has clothes they wouldn't dream of wearing, and a car they wouldn't wish to be seen dead in. The vehicles I outlined earlier are mine.

Deliberately wide just for a giggle, so spot on then.

Think you'd look OK / better in a SsangYong Rhodius than in a Cayenne/Q7? wink

Hardly worth the effort but, seeing as the prices SsangYongs go, they can afford to be ugly.

The Q7 has no such an excuse.

Saw a black one on the road near Mansfield yesterday.

Absolutely stunning. Such a beautiful car.

Saw a disguised F Type (looked like the one shown at Goodwood) near Banbury the other day. I was a bit surprised it still had the camouflage pattern on it, I'm not sure I'd have noticed it otherwise.
