There's no way that a 12 year-old Viper is worth 35k. 20-odd if they're lucky.
Really? Where are all these cars you speak of? That must mean than an early, open roof car, must be available for less than £20k by that logic .... In the UK, and on the road, I mean?

anyone who slags these off and says they are crap or not worth the money..

you just dont get it, which is fair enough each to their own. But this is GTS model, worth a lot more than the impractical targa top (and better looking) and with such low miles it will fetch 30k all day long. That's before you take in to account this car is already a classic and in the future I would make a sizeable wager the early models and the GTS roof will be the most sought after and valuable ones out there. If you have a wide enough garage and are tempted to buy it! Do it, you wont regret it. Yes they are cheaply built but the important stuff is rock solid (engine and tranny) and can handle much more abuse than something like an M3, fast Audi or Turbo nutter Skyline... I wanted one but it was just too bloody wide. I have made do with a Blown Trans Am, same sort of weight as the Viper but much easier to drive and has an extra 180 bhp to play and two seats in the back to scare more passengers.

We are in 2013 and yet with all the information and facts available in seconds we still have so called humans that still remain to be sheep followers.

There's a mint GTS on carandclassic website for sale in the UK that's done half the mileage of the OP car for a fiver under 30k.

nnyway, whilst searching "Dodge" I found this stunner in PH classifieds:

Looks good in Silver. It's wierd that people can't see the appeal of something like this. I suppose they wouldn't want an AC Cobra either...

Of course it will. All big engined US cars can get over 30 on a run easily, or at least that's what I read on PH...

The US, the market this car was obviously designed for, has a rich heritage in tuning
Indeed. The cost and ease with which my mate, who lives stateside, is getting big power out of his Mustang is quite depressing really.

I always found these things were quite a bit smaller in real life than I imagined from the posters.

Still want that Cayman? er, YES!

In the UK, the Gen1 Viper simply wouldn't see which way a new Cayman went!

(and 4sec to 60, good luck with actually getting that!)
In the UK? Oh look its you again typing the same old crap. Do we have different gravity in the UK compared to the rest of the world then? Perhaps the air here is racist and thickens infront of American cars.

4 secs to 60, good luck not required with that either. I've spent many a weekend on airfields and drag strips and the Nurburgring with the Viper guys and trust me no luck is required in actually getting that but then I'm speaking from first hand experience.....

'in the Uk the Viper wouldn't see which way a new Cayman went'. Well maybe that's why it's over here then because back in the homeland the Cayman couldn't see where the Viper went - not on the ring at least. And TBH I know for sure that here in the UK the Cayman wouldn't see where the Viper went if Nadine was driving the Viper.

Oh, some Viper pics here

0-60 in 4 seconds may be, but which way you would be facing is another matter. I think this vid says it all:

I'm genuinely curious, what do you think that vid says?

To me it says that the person in the Viper wasn't paying attention and drove in to the back of someone else.
I saw someone to this in a Peugeot 406 on the M4 a few weeks ago, what conclusion can we draw? rolleyes
Oh look I've just found a video that shows a GTR is so st it can't go down a straight road, amongst other things rolleyes

Boy PH is getting stupid
