You can blame some argumentative people who burned through lots of pages in the last few weeks....

Personally I was disappointed in the trade-in value of the last thread.

Most other long threads were offering a Parkers guide of 500+ pages before lock. We only got 499.

They'll probably retail it at 501 pages. Didn't need any prep either. Mint it was!

Just bookmarking.......

And to continue the topic of PCPs and the point that MarkMullen made, I have a 59 plate Cooper Chilli Auto. 39 months old, owned from brand new, 16000 miles, purchased on a 4 year PCP with £1k deposit. I am awaiting delivery of a new A3 before VTing the Mini. It is £2k in negative equity, somuch for finance companies (BMW finance n this case) setting realistic GMFV.

To be fair, MBFS were the worst at it.

If a customer comes into me with an old shape ML I hide...

Saying that, I also handed back my Merc GL after two years at the end of the PCP contract and that was well astern of station too, by about £2k or so.

To the vans sales guy, what manufacturer?

If you ever get to do any marketing stuff, do what I used to do. I'd target the local area with individual companies with specific mailers. So I'd do a lwb high roof van including the costs of an internal and external frail. Fridge vans to food companies and so on. They never get prices of vans ready to go to their spec, just boggo vans from the other local dealers. Worked well for me biggrin

Oh and bookmarked!

Any skoda bods able to give the a price for straight cash sale on an octavia vrs diesel blackseries estate? And are there actually any in stock anywhere?

I believe they are part of the vat free offer but i cannot find the vat free price anywhere online and im sure its wont be as straight forward as simply taking 20% off he list price.

Lent my demo to my customer until the 1st as there were three spares. Some terrible planning by colleagues means tommorow, those three cars are also going out to customers. Anyone fancy lending me their demo? biggrin
