Longest face-palm moment in the world, ever? When Bez and Reichman first saw the Rapide 'Brake: "What were we thinking?? Instead of building a lame, bland, long-wheelbase four-door DB9 that nobody's buying - we should've produced something like this! Call yourself a designer??"

"Call yourself a CEO??"

FFS, put it into production - now! Who cares if, like the existing Rapide, it'll be overweight, thirsty and relatively slow - it looks gorgeous lick
That's pretty accurate IMHO laugh

WOW... Stunning!!

I've not been a fan of the Rapide looks (prefer the Panamera) but that looks fantastic!!

Amazing.

If only it had the front end from the pre face-lift version...

Exactly my thoughts! The rear/side view looks like an ugly and squashed FF.

Yep, too VW Scirocco for my taste, but gorgeous interior.

Chicken and Egg?

Just a hunch, but I reckon messrs Callum and Fisker would argue long and hard that they penned/established the DB9/Vanquish mk1's window outline and rear 'shoulder'-style - which has been carried-over to the Rapide(s) - long before VW's designers started sketching the current Scirocco?

To be fair, I think Ford made a better job of the Mondeo estate!

We just need to get them to install a decent transmission and engine now.

That doesn't do anything for me. Looks squashed and too long.

This. Separate sections of it look great - as a whole though, just doesn't seem to work. At least in the pshops wink

If I had any sharp objects nearby I would have gouged out my eyes upon seeing that monstrosity for the first time. It is a seriously hideous piece of metal.

Marmite. Don't think I like it. Would much prefer an FF but I'm sure this will be a bit more affordable. Not sure why but there's something a bit Ford Focus / Vauxhall Astra about it to me.
