Apart from the terrible faux bonnet vents these look quite tricky, shame they don't seem to offer a height adjustable driver seat as no matter how hard I try I just can't get comfy, so unfortunately they are off my list.

I think the vents are functional on the assetto corse.

Edit: ah.^

Id love to drive one, bet they are like a go cart. I even find myself, on occasions, wanting to buy one. The Black one at the top of the report looks good I think. enough power and torque to have a little fun without getting into trouble.

But then I realise Its a 500, and I am worried that if I bought one my friends would think I was gay and disown me.

It's only the bonnet vents that spoil it for me, guess that is just a press pic that's showing all the options, personally I like the colour scheme and it does have some relevance to the brand

When i see that blue and yellow 695, this is all i see. I'd happily tell the sales monkey to bin the bonnet vents and i'd take it.

The base model is sufficient on the power and torque bit, everything else is just icing on the cake. yes it does handle like a go-cart and finally no, they won't. From personal experience, Girls love em and blokes want to own one - best of both worlds, you just have to ignore all the old folk who remember the original 500 Abarth from 50 years ago that want to chat about their fond memories...

Unfortunately, FIAT did diminish the Abarth name to a bunch of add-ons. After the last true Abarth, the Strada 130TC, Abarth became synonymous with body-kits and spoilers and wheels on Puntos and the like. The 500 and Grande Punto Abarths came along and reinstated some sort of credibility to the name, but it's all getting silly and a bit complicated now.

The bonnet vents are not fake. The left one is a proper NACA duct that directly feeds the turbo as in the Assetto Corse race cars and the right vent is an exit vent for the turbo heat. These actually do work so not cosmetic add ons.
I thought the drivers side one was a sun dial.........
