I ran against a breathed on 20v at Pod a few years back (Auto Italia day) and it made me look positively slow and just to add insult, it even sounded better.

They don't look fast on the straight at Spa. Not from the Grandstand anyway.
For the record, before I start, I'm really not trying to be argumentative here, but just for info I clocked mine, unmodified except perhaps a drilled airbox, at 164mph, by satnav, on a *very* slight uphill gradient. I'm not unhappy with that. s m said:

Also, Its not like a 20vt won TOTB fwd class for handling with less money spent on mods than a set of coilovers alone would cost on an integra for 2 years running....
Autocar tested the 20V Turbo and the DC2 ITR head to head back in 1997. Interesting testAlso smashed the 200SX VR6 Corrado Prelude VTI
I owned a 20VT until the end of 2011. Had it for 3 years, and can honestly say that it was one of the most reliable, stylish, well built cars I have owned. The acceleration was sublime. And the sound.....!! I miss it terribly and would recommend any one thinking about buying one, to go for it.

The one in the garage, the one on the driveway or the one in the parking lot?
What do you expect, to have people taken pictures of their cars while hooning or on track?
I didn't take this but here is mine on a track day at Oulton Park in November 2006 being passed by Tomas Enge in full race prepared V8 something:What do you expect, to have people taken pictures of their cars while hooning or on track?

Wow, didn't know many V8 Ford Falcons had found their way to the UK. Good to see. I love Aussie cars (Falcons and Commodores), even the bog standard versions have surprising stonk and dollops of torque. Handle OK too!
I went for a few laps in it with Enge driving, he said the tyres were old and hard, they were slicks and the track at the time was anything but dry. I can only agree that the car appeared to have lots of torque and the handling appeared ok to me. Kind of showed why I haven't raced at Le Man's and Enge has!Had 2 of these and nothing ever went wrong with them provided they have a bit of TLC. Letit warm up nicely first thing, let it cool down before putting it to bed and, as mentioned, watch the belts.
The guy who bought my much loved 20V Turbo tried to complain 5 week later when the turbo blew on him. Served him right for ragging it to death!
