Nice try to regain some of Lambo's bonkers history. The front is amazing but the side, especially the rear wheel arch just look stupid and completely out of place. Especially given how good the current range of cars looks & apparently drive.
Don't understand why Mc Laren & Lambo have tried to make the rear end of their cars as ugly as possible, given that this is the view most people will have.

Surely this is just what they should be doing given their past:

That is quite simply the genesis of the supercar as we know it right there. The purest and best cloud9

A limited edition run of that with a very gentle modern makeover would be the way to go.

I love it, it's a fantastically mad Lamorghini (which I'm sure everyone likes to see) and it looks mental... but it is hideous as well isn't it?!

I looks like an American concept supercar from the 70s, not for me.

This is one hideous contraption. Well Done VAG, this is now the lowest point in Lamborghini history. It’s as if the Germans have had a cynical perverse intention to ruin what was once an iconic brand. frown
Dont know about that, Lamborghini has allways been known for bonkers creations and theyre sticking to it. its what makes them unique. Although i look at the front of that and i think of that chrysler supercar thing but cant remember whats its called.

The Headlights remind me of last years Audi R18 Le Mans cars, along with the fin along the centre.
Good call, I was trying to remember where the design for the Headlights come from.

Looks like they have been listening to Clarkson. More guns and lasers. It's mad and I like it.

Very clever of Lamborghini, this. Very clever indeed.

Rivals Ferrari and McLaren spend millions developing a genuine hyper car. They throw dozens of engineering nerds at developing new technology, pushing the envelope and trying to innovate.

Meanwhile, Hans and Dieter deep inside VAG HQ, simply send a message to their employee in Italy : "

"Luigi, Take that styling cartoon done by the recent graduate intern you hired, make it up as a bodykit and slap it on a Aventador chassis. Schnell schnell ! "

Above all, you have to hand it to Lamborghini corporate communications and PR. A great job. Pay them a bonus, they earned it.

Lamborghini gets to deflect attention from their main rivals without actually having to spend much money developing a genuinely new car.

Genius.

This is the sort of stuff that makes little boys want to go grow up and win the lottery. If I was ridiculously rich, I would buy one of these so everybody else was well aware of that fact. Can't imagine any other actual uses for a car like this other than revving and posing.
